Eye poke instant disqualification

Video replay with an immediate point deduction if legitimate.

DQ'ing is overkill, we'd lose too many fights.
 
Using slap dangal foul system will clean the sport haanji 👍🏾

10-8 round automatic if the fingering foul is committed 1 time, then dq if occuring once more in 3 round or 3 occurrence for 5 round

For MMA dangal it should be 10-8 or tko if they are faking or if it is from fisting to the eye instead of fingering

Ball-shot vulva-shot is similar to flinching haanji sometimes it is occuring naturally 👌🏾maybe receive 1 warning then point removal. Four occurrence leading to DQ
 
If they made it 2 points, I wonder if eye pokes disappear from the sport.

People like Jon Jones would just turn the tables and start intentionally skewering his own eyeballs for the cheap win.
 
Great so when the most active fighters fight only 2x a year, they can spend that on rematches. DQ is very stupid in general. I thought Yan/Aljo was on the fine line of whether or not a DQ is right.

Only a gross blatant foul should be DQs, like Sims vs Mir. NC's are much better. It's pretty stupid today to hear how Matt Hammill beat Jones. Atleast with NC no one wins, the result is removed.

The best compromise imo is instant 2-point deduction + 20% of the opponent's purse. They won't like that. Use the slow motion replay to confirm the fighter got poked.

If a second poke happens then it's another 20% of the purse and the DQ/NC.
 
Imo 10% fine of purse and a point deduction for first foul, and then a DQ.

Fouls would crater. Right now fighters know they get one or even two for free, with a harsh system a lot of this behavior would dissipate

I think instant point deduction with a replay review while recouping. Keep in mind faking an eye poke is something guys will resort to like Koscheck with nut shots.

I think a clear double eye gouge like Gane did is worthy of a DQ. Also guys like Gane and Jones who have a highlight reel of fingers to the face accidents have had their warnings. Jon putting his fingers in the general area of a face should be an immediate point. second time a DQ, forget about waiting for an actual poke.

Double eye pokes are instant 2 point deductions.
 
Maybe make it like Pride with the different cards. If you eye poke ONCE it's 10% of your purse to the other fighter, and if it happens again it's another 20% of your purse. Third time and it's a DQ loss.
 
1st time in a fight, 1 point deduction, automatic.

2nd time, DQ and a loss.

But I mean if you are going to double eye gouge your opponent, stick your fingers into his brain via eyeball and blind him for life and stop the fight, yes automatic DQ loss first offense.
 
That would be a sport killer. A lot of eye pokes are legitimately unintentional and just something that happens.
 
that would lead to a whole lot of lame fight endings. Plenty of pokes didnt do too much harm and a 10ish second pause was all thats needed.

... perhaps an insta 10-8 round loss for the offender?
