Eye poke instant disqualification

Most eyepokes are not that bad. Nobody wants to be robbed of a fight, even the fighter that got fouled most of the time. People are being too dramatic I feel. 5 minutes to recover is long enough to figure out if you can continue or not. Take a point if the fighter has been warned for sticking his fingers out multiple times, otherwise either get on with the fight, or if the fighter can't continue, no contest.

Not enough, you will most mikely get beaten up for 3 or 5 rds and probably finished brutally since your sight will be compromised, so 1,2 or 10 pts deduction’s won’t matter. You can poke someone indefinately and get points taken but it doesnt matter since you’ll finish a 90% handicaped fighter anyway…

Totally. The amount of fights they'd cancel, would do no one any favor. If it's a 5 minute per eye poke, then a two-eye poke = 10 minutes. + point deduction, leveling the playing field.
