I mean, it isn’t really a secret. Survive the first round and then take over. He’s a complete fighter, so he’ll mix in striking and grappling to drown Chimaev.

Respect for actually describing the way he wins. I don't think cardio alone is a way to win. Even Merab uses his cardio by mostly strikes and wrestling.

I just think the idea DDP is going to walk down and pressure Khamzat and strike+wrestle him the last 3 rounds is pretty wild to imagine. Khamzat isn't only burning himself out, but his opponent even further. Perhaps DDP starts defending takedowns better later on, but it's hard to picture his wrestling being a threat. Also DDP isn't exactly cardio king, he may have heart, but I'd be absolutely shocked if he took Khamzat down and finished him there.

DDP is good with his words because its not rehearsed or fake, he just says whatever comes to his mind in the moment which is genuine. He doesn't create fake beefs on the spot. He is quite a witty guy and has a good sense of humor. Easy to like.
