Don't you appreciate Mike Tyson so much more?

Imagine if Tyson at his peak was fighting Jones at his peak.

Jones would have DESTROYED Tyson.

This is facts.
This is truly dumb to say. In what? Something that didn’t exist and Tyson didn’t specifically train for? Or boxing? Cuz that without a doubt wouldn’t have happened. Tyson had some things Jon doesn’t have, raw athleticism paired with devestating explosive punching power. Get out of here with this crap. Nobody knows what tyson would do if mma was the superior sport at the time and he trained in that vs boxing. Surely you’re not delusional enough to believe jon beats Tyson at his peak in boxing.

I don't give a fuck who wins in a fight, obviously Jones has more weapons, but a prime Tyson would frighten me much more
I mean that seems pretty evident. One of them threatened to bang you after he knocked you out

So yall appreciate Wilder who is naturally like 215-220 pounds fighting Tyson Fury who comes into the ring 270+?

But that is always ignored.

Tyson is 5'10". Wilder is 6'7". Might have something to do with it.

we do , but he is not beating him, is he?

Height does not mean bigger, because even Mike in his prime would make non bulked up Wilder that would come in at 215-220 in most of his fights look like a twig.

No one said it does. That doesn't change the fact that Wilder has massive height and reach advantages over Mike, and the vast majority of his opponents. Fury being the exception and, let's be honest, Fury doesn't really look 2 inches taller than Wilder in any of their face offs. I think his 6'9" is a slight exaggeration.

Being a lard ass, he certainly had a considerable weight advantage.

Looking how Jones had to beef up 50 pounds over 3 years to fight in the HW division and very few people dare to do this in the UFC,, I appreciate Tyson so much more as small HW who basically weighed in at around 220 on fight night, which is what the LHWs now coming in at. And he fought these guys who were monsters compared to him and KOed most of them.

I personally have a much deeper appreciation for him and still can't think of anyone in combat sports who is more exciting.

I think actual weight advantage is less important in boxing than MMA, particularly at HW, once you get to 200 pounds or so weight can disadvantage you in boxing.

How dare you assume my gender!

it-is-maam-its-maam.gif

I don't have to assume since I have been calling you sir for over a year lol.

Don't have to read past Jones putting on 50 lbs to know you don't know wtf you're talking about.

NOTHING AVERAGE ABOUT IRON MIKE. He was a world champion multiple times with an unbeaten run of 36 fights. His First loss came in his 37th fight, surrendering his WBC, WBA, and IBF heavyweight titles in 1990.
This was AFTER destroying all opponents by Knockouts/TKO, except 4 wins from decisions.
In the 80's, an unbeaten run of 36 STRAIGHT HW fights. Ended with 50 wins, 44 Knockouts.
