He'll probably fight again, but he's really exposed himself to being quite sensitive to criticism.

Bruce Buffer should prank him and announce him as "Tom Eyespinall" in his return.

Especially considering he the guy playing into the trolling culture

Yes, I say he comes back in 2026, probably half way through the year.

His aura of invincibility is now gone, and he no longer has the "fear" advantage going into fights. Gane showed that he bleeds just like any other man (except Khabib). And all this whining and complaining has just made him so unlikeable. It's unfortunate that the fight ended like it did because Gane was on his way to dragging him into deep waters and likely finishing it or winning an easy decision. Many fights have continued after eye pokes just as bad or worse than the one he sustained. Cormier poked the crap out of Stipe in their 1st fight, and Stipe returned the favor in the 2nd fight. Rose got poked against Natalia just the other night and handled it gracefully. Paddy got poked by Gaethje and hasn't even mentioned it to my knowledge. Aspinall is the 1st one that has acted like a completely baby over it like this. If he really was injured as badly as he says, then he shouldn't come back and risk permanent damage, because it likely will happen again. As long a there are open fingered gloves, there will be accidental eye pokes. That's just the nature of MMA at this point.

It's been 4 months of Tom lying about being injured, having no return timeline (because there's no injury), and we're the ones blowing things out of proportion by saying Tom's obviously just milking things to avoid losing to Gane?

Meanwhile this was your reaction to Jones saying he wanted 6 months to adequately prepare for Aspinall:

With no return in sight 6 months is less than Tom's seeking by this point. On top of all the prior months he already trained for Gane.

I'm sure the double standard is just a coincidence though and you're totally not just burying your head in the sand here.

Tibau utterly manhandled him and was viciously robbed.
28-1

- Tom last fought in October and was injured in the fight.

- Khamzat last fought in August and is perfectly healthy.

- Topuria last fought in June and is healthy.
These people are trying to get in all there "Where tom?" posts as they can before his rematch with Gane is announced for international fight week (Donny loves a heavyweight fight, real Just Bleed fan)

I would love if he gets cut and fights/beats Francis somewhere to become the lineal HW champ.
He will try to land money fight in box if he manages to get out of contract with UFC. Literally anyone who can read between lines and heard interviews with his dad when they were trying to get Jones fight knows it. Now its still possible, mainly when tons of people believe his story...

He will be back, they need gatekeepers

This. He's a fighter and dreamt of it since he was a child. But, if he does, I foresee a sad ending to his career like that or Chris Weidman. More losses than wins, slow, and sad realization that he should have handled the injury better.

Didn't both eyes get poked? It was a serious injury (or two). His ego and confidence are destroyed. The blueprint to beat him has been shown and ultimately, he won't be the same if he ever steps in the cage again. Quite possibly a career ending injury in many ways.

If he does fight on his career will not end well. He's a wreck I imagine. Sadly, the fight with Gane will be all that we'll remember and people are entitled to their conclusions on how it ended, what could've happened, and what could've been of Tom Aspinal.
