“The biggest thing that Tom needs to take from all this is … he has to remember that Dana White’s a promoter,” Cejudo told Shakiel Mahjouri. “He’s a fighter. Dana White has never fought in the cage before. My mentor told me that, because I was pissed at Dana too.”

“I don’t think you should ever take anything personal, because you’re an employee under the boss. So don’t fight with them, bro. Like, it is what it is. Dana, and this is probably what makes Dana a good promoter, is he’s gonna say what he feels. Honestly, I kinda appreciate it, the fact that they don’t give a f--k either.”

A good advice given as diplomatically as possible not to bruise Danas ego.

The people who would tell Tom to fight Dana and make noise are the same people who would abandon him the second he isnt useful for their feud with Dana anynore.

Keep winning, get the bag, bounce. No use feuding with Dana.

Tom isn't Frances. That ship sailed. So Henry, like it or not, is correct. Arguing with Dana and company isn't going to get you anything other than misery. Tom needs to fight and shut everyone up with his fists. Winning fixes everything,

Mental health crisis going down on the dog

The way it turned out for Aspinall was so much worse than expected.

The timing of the eye poke and injury was particularly bad after Aspinalls dad talked about wanting to run out the contract and then move to boxing.
Beyond stupid to talk about that publically in that moment.

It would be one thing if he had beaten Jones and defended against Gane, then his stock would be high enough to give him some leverage.

Now Dana is kicking him when he's down, as expected.

The issue isn't really with Tom fighting them, it's that he doesn't have the leverage to be able to do so. I can't keep stressing enough how much leverage is important. It's not about who you are it's about what you're worth with these guys. Jon got to get away with his circus act because he had value and leverage, Francis was able to challenge Dana like he did because he had leverage and value. Tom's mistake was expecting the UFC to care about him and trying to challenge them when he has low value and no leverage to be able to challenge them. The reality (although not fair) is that Tom has not done enough in this sport yet and has not done enough yet for the UFC for them to be willing to care and go to bat for him like he wants them to, and Tom does not hold the leverage to be able to do anything about them not giving a crap. All he can do in this situation is really as Cejudo says cause it will only make his situation worse not to do so.

Henry hits the nail on the head here that Tom is supposed to be a fighter and not whining pretending to be blind on YouTube and Instagram.

Shut up and get back in the cage and this will all go away.

Lol Henry giving advice? The guy who gambled with his own career and walked away thinking they’d pay him to stay?
Yeah that was hilarious. Then he tried tk run with the triple c shit and that flopped too.
