Let's go through the checklist. He's white, good looking, speaks good english with an accent to boot, good body, can fight like a trained warrior, has a cool acroynm for a full name DDP, dresses well. I ain't even nowhere close to being gay and I'd date him or be his low hanging fruit wingman to take the scraps.

You gotta understand... Not everyone can or SHOULD be a fundamental fighter.

They got crazy physical attributes that transcend the way you are supposed to do shit.

He naturally fights a certain way and he uses that to his advantage.

RJJ had a full career with his crazy ass style. Yes when his speed and reflexes started to go he ran into problems but he could have retired on top and had a full career as a multi weight champion. Lack of fundamentals does not have to be a be all end all ESPECIALLY in MMA.

Especially since the sport of mma is so young one could argue that what constitutes the fundamentals of MMA are far from written in stone. That said, Dricus has decent fundamentals -- they're just from a less ubiquitous style. You'll see tons of karate/kickboxers with that style on the south African scene.
