As for the topic, if he keeps winning, yes. He has the complete package. Exciting fighting style, can trash talk when necessary,good looking, pioneer (South African MMA) and his next opponents are some of the biggest names in the UFC atm (Strickland, Adesanya, Khamzat).

What he did to Bobby is not to be taken lightly. Nobody has done that to MW BK. granted he has eleven kids now so his dad life is bound to have softened him some, still, DDP is a fucking monster. KSW multi division champ, why the fuck are we surprised is the real question

in a perfect world they knock each other out and send each other to an early retirement
, but if not possible ill go with strickland. Strickland as ignorant as he is
you can attempt to EDUCATE him get a few laughs of his over the top
macho bigoted behavior and have him fake apologizing / crying from time to time.
And hes OPEN.
ill give him that. hes open and is honest.
with ddp hes actually a worser human. cause he unlike strickland ddp actually
thinks hes a good guy....

He has good fundamentals and very good fight IQ from what i've seen, he's just awkward as hell. He really makes me think of a mixture of Justin Gaethje and Keith Jardine. His goal seemingly every fight is to fight at a fast pace till he breaks his opponent like Gaethje generally does but DDP is more well rounded and has shown better fight IQ but he's also awkward as hell like Keith Jardine.

The answer to why anyone is surprised is cause he moves weird, for some reason a lot of fans think if striking or movement looks ugly it can't also be good/effective.
 
I think he does, he's a finishing machine. He comes off as a nice guy who's also good at getting under people's skin very easily while at the same time being mostly complimentary. He's like a more successful Michael Chandler personality wise.

Most people were blind to it but I was pretty sure he was going to be a title contender at me right away he has a very aggressive style can grapple and can strike crazy endurance aswell
 
I'd say yes. He's got people talking and he's not even champ yet.
