Yes, movies are fun to see on the big screen.
I more prefer going to see independant and local films at the community theaters, as you are getting a unique experience every time, you are supporting local artists and if you engage enough with people and rub shoulders its kinda cool to watch movies made by your friends.
I haven't gone to see a hollywood movie since the last star wars movie. That might have been the last straw
Honestly, I’m loving the twilight years of cinema. It’s sad that they are dying off, but there’s just something to having a theater to yourself or with a few other people.
Was at a theater in Cleveland watching Kill Bill. Some fat bitch starting laughing when the bride got shot in probably the only serious part of the whole movie. Kill Bill was shit but the feeling of hating a crowded theater has always stuck with me.
That's how I have been for about the last decade +. I just don't like crowds, so it has to be something I really want to see for me to go.I watched Thunderbolts* in the cinema last week. That was the first time I'd gone to the cinema since Deadpool 3 last year.
It has to be a film that, for whatever reason, I really want to see it on a big screen. Otherwise I'll just wait until it streams.
I'll have to admit I do want to see 28 Years Later and Superman at the movies maybe even Megan 2.0.Still watch it. Have watched 9 movies this year with Sinners and Thunderbolts* being my favorite films so far.
Looking forward to watching at least 12 more movies for 2025.
Rear Window was great movie. The last three movies I saw in the theater were Nosferatu, Rear Window (special viewing) and Becoming Led Zeppelin.
