Did Ankalaev actually say he wouldn't fight anywhere but Abu Dhabi?

I just watched it: he said he has no Visa issues and can fight in the US, but he'd like to fight Perreira in Abu Dhabi because it's better for him.

If that's what people are using to justify the claim he only wants to fight in Abu Dhabi, they're crazy.

It sucked listening to it because he says there's no one left in the top five to fight Perreira, so he thinks he'll get the next shot. Poor guy has no idea they're going to run down to the eighth-ranked fighter instead of the number two guy in the division.

Do you think that the UFC didn't potentially offer him the Alex fight prior to Alex vs Rountree getting made?

This is going to sound rude and I apologize in advance, but that is some real weasel language. Not "Do you think the UFC didn't offer him the Alex fight?", but "Do you think the UFC didn't potentially offer him the Alex fight?"

Alex vs Rountree is another fight to save a shit card, one week before the Abu dhabi card which is stacked in comparison.
Alex originally was out for a few months, but is being pulled in to save another card after clearing up his toe injury.

Yeah, because UFC's running their organization shittier than ever, this is a problem we're seeing more and more of. As a consequence, The champ isn't fighting the #2 guy in the division.

Alex was talking about fighting on 305, my guess is Ank said no to shorter notice,

Is this based on any sources? If so, can you share them?
got booked vs rakic for a later fight (in his preferred Abu dhabi)

and now Alex is jumping in again to help out the UFC.
He shouldn't fight in Abu dhabi, it's not his fault Ank had to fight Johnny walker 2x and hasn't fought since January. The fight has been offerred and he has said no.
Khalil is jumping the line a bit, but my guess is he is the only fresh match up on a win streak that said yes to Salt Lake City.
Are you basing your guess on sources? Can you share them with us?

You're making a bunch of guesses that let the UFC save face. How are those any more reliable than if I were to make guesses that paint the UFC as corrupt, vengeful scumbags?
