Devil's Minions Team-summer Squat Competition

Scott congrats on your progress but your squat was at least 3-4 inches from parallel.....the bare minimum is when hip crease is equal or lower than top of the knee. Generally you want to aim for this as the bare minimum on your all out of attempts but in training i'd go 2-3 inches below that. ...I learned that leason a while back which caused my squat poundage to drop 100 lb while i relearned the technique...

with your work ethic you will quickly progress with deeper squats...

your safeties on the squat rack look way too high.....i'd lower them by 6 inches...

I tought exactlly the same.
In this rack you can only reach proper depth if you are like 7 feet tall.

I was worried about that. I built some sawhorses which are lower than the rack (the rack doubles for a bench press, which is why it's higher than it should be), so I can just take the extra step out. I thought I was getting lower, but that's the first time I ever taped it and watched it. I'll get lower, though.

Who's got the Devil's favor now?

My post count is now at 666. I am not going to post anywhere but in the Training logs until I squat 405 to honor the Devil's Son, our fearless leader. <--- bows, scraping floor

I was planning to squat today, but I forgot and started drinking, so I will shoot for tomorrow.
I have been trying to lose weight, but I cannot stick to a diet. So, my new plan is to fuck the diet and squat til I drop and eat enough to keep myself going. I am going to put up 405 or die trying. At least that is what my drunken brain thinks now.
