Hey everyone on the team... I just wanted to update you all. I am going through a pretty rough time right now with a divorce and it is costly as well. With all the stress and poor diet during this time I have been sick for nearly all of it and am finally feeling a bit better. This means that I am behind on progress and I will stay in the comp. if you all don't mind, but if leaving is better I can do that as well. Let me know thoughts because there is no way I can reach my goal now. Sorry about the lack of progress during my crappy situation. I do plan on hitting it hard starting tomorrow again and starting progress back up. Anyways, theres the update.

Hey man, sorry to hear, and hopefully things start looking up for you. It's definitely a good idea to focus on lifting and eating right though b/c those things effect your mood tremendously! Good luck w/ everything man

Sorry I've been away guys, I haven't been around a computer at all recently. I've been working on the flexibility, today I started to add weight back on the bar.

Today. inspired by the "Idiot in the Gym" thread I was going to squat and bounce off of an exercise ball, but I am not that hardcore, so I did this instead:

Front squat
10x95
5x135
5x185
4x225 - didn't feel like I could get the last one, almost lost #4

Zercher Squat
5x135
5x185
2x225
2x225
5x225 - kept having trouble with elbows hitting knees, got elbows in tight for the last set and got deeper

Back Squat
5x135
5x225
5x275
5x315 - first rep was a little high, I think the rest were paralel - felt good


Can you tell I am pumped up?
 
FS today: 185x3, 205x3, 225x3, 245x3, 185x3

these were surprisingly easy and the 245x3 is a FS pr for me...

I have been out of action for a week. I will try to hit squats and other stuff sunday. My goal for now is 315x20 squats...I hit 16 last workout and i feel like i can get to 20...
 
Hey is everyone on this team still in this? Not a post on here for a while? I will be maxing my squat tomorrow, hopefully I can even get a +5lbs to help out a little. I guess any gains I have made while going through a divorce are good enough...

My workouts have been very sporadic lately. I plan to try for a PR today and video it.
We'll see how it goes.
 
ok I just got my 300lbs pr... only +15lbs PR but I guess that's better than nothing... eh. Sorry I didn't even come NEAR my goal.
