'Logan' honoring the death scene prediction from 'The Wolverine' about "Holding Your Heart In Your Hand" and 'Your Heart' was Lara, was absolutely brilliant.

That's why Hugh and the fanbase was second-guessing if Hugh should reprise the role, because a brilliant send-off like that shouldn't be shat on.

So coming back as a different Wolverine was a great solution.

RDJ coming back to the MCU is similar because Tony Stark had such a brilliant send-off. The solution is... RDJ coming back as a different character, and the 'Big Bad' of the next two Avenger films.
What about Patrick Stewart and him coming back as Magneto or another big bad? Would that be brilliant or too much? Does it make a difference if Marvel announces it (then it is brilliant) or if i propose it (then it is too much)?

Wesley Snipes Gets Two Guinness World Record for Longest Career as a Live-Action Marvel Character and for the Longest Gap Between Character Appearances in Marvel Films

Wesley Snipes has broken two records according to the Guinness World Records. One is for longest career as a live-action Marvel character with 25 years 340 days playing Blade after he first played the character in Blade (1998). The second record was for the longest gap between character appearances in Marvel films, having last played Blade 19 years 231 days ago in Blade: Trinity (2004).

Hell yeah survived the IRS during that time frame. GOAT.

Didn't see the Marvels in Theater the first time I've skipped out on an MCU film on the Big Screen and just saw it on Disney + . Dodged a bullet there. Probably the worst Villain in the MCU , Loki's wife can't act for shit.

the comfy Showcase?
Nah fuck that, Lincoln Cinema all the way baby. There was only 8 ppl in the 12:30 showing and it was glorious.

What a fun movie, I wanted more Cassandra Nova though. Her gifts really translated well to the big screen and that shit made me uneasy. Fingers around the eyes really get to me.

Absolutely loved some of the spots, fucking Snipes was my favorite and Chris fucking evans cracked me up.

The fight in the van was fucking great too

well, damn, i can’t even remember the last time i went to the CW. i’m hitting the PVD Place Showcase 99% of the time these days because i can legit leave my house 5-8min before the scheduled showtime & be in my seat just as the trailers are wrapping up, but i’ll go to the North Attleboro Showcase to catch a screening straight from work. mixed feelings on the “de Lux” comfy reclining chairs (i think i prefer generic movie theater seating where i can put my feet on the back of the seat in front of me if it’s empty), but i do like how max occupancy is ~60 people (30 in “stadium” rows/30 in floor rows; not including handicap-accessible row) for most of the screens, there’s more spacing between seats/rows, & i can put all my stashed nips in the cupholders w/o them falling through. have you been to the new Apple Cinemas in Warwick yet? i haven’t been

The Van Rant from Jackman stole the show for me , he was fucking amazing and their Brutal fight that followed was just a chefs kiss to that moment.

That was probably my favorite moment in the movie. What I did really like about this movie is that the dialogue felt like they were real characters talking about real shit. It wasn't just the normal "We need to save the world/what does it mean to be a hero/Great power great responsibility". There was some actual character work that made them not just heroes, but real, flawed people.
The explanation of the superhero suit was a good scene, and so was some of Logan's interactions with Cassandra where he talked about mutants. Made it feel like mutants are an actual kind of separate people, and that should be interesting in the future.

Really was perfection. The laughter and snort from Hugh after Deadpool says he is going to fight him...just every little detail in that scene was great and felt real

I avoid driving into Prov place as much as humanely possible, I went to the Apple cinema in Warwick a few years ago and it was fine. The Lincoln one is just so convenient for me.

Oh, totally unrelated. Have you tried Irregardless Biscuit yet? If you haven’t, look them up, hot honey chicken biscuit blew my fucking mind.

I'm surprised by the poll results.
The movie sucked. It was made to please nerds and nothing else.
A big drop compared to the previous Deadpools and X-men movies.
But i bet you cried like a little gurl when darling RDj died in avengers. I bet youre one of those nerds who cheered when "avengers asemble" lmao..

i haven’t, but people have been hyping it

I’m okay to keep him for the SW movies.

I mean, he is barely in the comic run at all from what I remember.
...probably because the dick bag SJW's are desperately trying to push chick wolverine

Fuuuuuucccckkkk these critics!!!!!!!!!!!

There was honestly a lot of things in the story that I didn't like, but the force of Reynolds and Jackman were so strong that I didn't get too caught up on it while I was watching the movie.

I'm starting to really dislike the entire idea of the TVA because it doesn't feel like Feige/MCU has given it the proper amount of attention considering how big it actually is to pretty much any story they've told lately.
The idea of an anchor being is stupid. It makes no sense. Makes even less sense that of all of the beings in all of the universe that Wolverine would be that being.
Things like that, and them having some machine that could wipe out a universe on demand, or a flying monster cloud that eats everything...it was just lazy writing considering how much Marvel has been putting this multiverse shit into all of their recent movies.

The cameos were fine, surprising even, especially Human Torch, Blade, and Gambit. But they also felt kind of wasted. The big fight scene was massively underwhelming. An old Blade, Gambit, X-23, and freakin Elektra couldn't take Juggernaut alone, let alone a whole army of baddies. Besides the unrealisticness of that fight, it just wasn't really well done in comparison to the Wolverine vs Deadpool fights.
It felt like they were relying too much on jus showing a face, or doing something nostalgic, but doing nothing else with it. "Hey, there's Calisto...and there's Azazel...oh, and X-23 is wearing her sunglasses from Logan"....there just wasnt' a lot of substance to a lot of the people they put in, and also, wasn't really much rhyme or reason.

Added to that, Deadpool's entire crew is wasted. Colossus and Shatterstar did nothing. It feels like Negasonic and her Gf are only there so that Ryan can make lesbian jokes. I didn't even understand what the issue was with Deadpool's gf, Vanessa, just didn't seem like any thought was put into it that story.
The anchor being thing was obviously a contrived plot device in order to justify the inclusion of Wolverine. Made no sense but necessary for the story they were trying to tell.

It wasn't necessary though. We really saying that anchor beings were the ONLY way to get Wolverine into a Deadpool movie that deals with multiverses? They literally could have done anything they wanted. Deadpool could have literally said "4th wall time, I'm a fan of the Wolverine and I want to do this movie with him, and save the MCU at the same time. " and that would've been a better start.

Problem with this anchor being nonsense is that this movie is in the MCU. So they're saying this idea exists now and in the future of the MCU? Who chooses anchor beings?
Colossus and Negasonic are Xmen---they could've told Wade he needs a Wolverine because he's "the best at what he does".
They could have made a key part of the story around their healing factors---that to get done whatever they need to get done, they need 2 guys that are basically unkillable. Just about anything wouldve been better than anchor being.
