Because those 3 is all they'd need for $2 Billion global boxoffice.

They are going to bring everyone for the Avengers, they need to top endgame, no way home, DS2, etc. Problem is I don't see where they can go after it.

No need for paying the 8-figure salaries to get the other two, besides the characters are dead.

I don't think that will stop them. Wolverine died too.

The MCU needs to look toward the future while honoring the past but not resurrecting it.

The same applies to Hugh and Tobey if you ask me. They need to work on their own X-men. But seems like Marvel is giving people the fanservice they want.

Makes me wonder how much will it take for people to get tired of the cameofest.

If Secret Wars is about putting everyone in I don't see how that model can continue after it. There will be nothing to follow up.

For those that loved the movie, how was your theater crowd? Where they laughing, clapping and shouting at the cameos and surprises? Was it like the Endgame crowd? If it was, I envy you. My crowd for D&W was not as reactive.

Friday Morning Matinee crowd decently full theater and great energy and a lot of them caught all the shots at other studios.

I will also say Reynolds really advocating for certain people and cameos really impressed me. Dude lobbied for a lot of cool shit for this movie and gave a lot of people their due.

That part really shined through and reading some articles from people talking about coming back or what it means to them is pretty fucking cool.

MCU Jesus for sure.
I was really surprised with Blade and Gambit having cameos

Impressive.

Sooo I rated this movie a 5. I explained my gripes, and after reading some reviews on here, many people have the same issues with this movie.. but they still rated it higher than I did. Which is cool, I didn't hate this movie, but I'm clearly in the minority when I say this- I don't find Deadpool as a character to be THAT amusing- which is why I rated it the way I did.

For my taste, Deadpool would work better as a supporting character, as his schtick works best in small doses for me. It's kind of like my relationship with reggaeton or trap music, where I can jam to it in small doses but I can't stand 2 hours of it. I'm clearly in the minority there as well, lol.
