Media Dana White is having a conversation with Kayla Harrison's team

Didnt he publicly state that 'she should just stay over there' when referring to her?

Plus matching her up against Amanda immediately is kinda dirty and just shows the blatant agenda that the ufc has, which is to always make their fighters look better and win in situations where there is a crossover superfight. Doesn't always work for them but they still try to maneuver and finesse like that.

He was just trying to push down her price

At least we would get to see a decent challenge for Nunes. None of the girls she fought lately were on her level.

With the PFL, Kayla Harrison gets a $1 million paycheck for fighting 3 undersized and lesser skilled opponents a year as well as freedom of sponship opportunities. If she were to go to the UFC, she'd have to move down a weight class (that's assuming Amanda doesn't mind fighting at 145) to face a teammate in Amanda Nunes, have limited sponsorship options (especially during fight week), and probably only get about $400K/year or so in her fight purse total.

Dana needs to build a division at 145 which he has talked about for years but refuses to put a fucking penny into it. Shit tier promoter so good luck with that.

I imagine her management is demanding crazy money though with what she's earning in PFL.

they seriously just need to get rid of 145, they don't even bother to post ranking in that division on their own website :p

Best for her to stay in PFL and continue whooping soccer moms for the yearly million.

haha true that. Nunes is older now but good chance she lights her up on the feet in round one and that is all she wrote but who knows.

Well, that's quite the change of heart.

I'd like to see her stay one more year in PFL to keep improving, and likely make another million, before making the move. Either way I hope she does well.
Is she really going to improve fighting cans though? She needs to cut down to 145 or 135, so that she can face better competition. The talent pool at 155 for women is very small.

People mostly improve during training.
