Anybody else think Amanda is going to destroy Kayla?

If Amanda does win, what happens then? She retires again right away?

It looked so stupid I thought it was staged. Amanda wanted to retire. Dead wmma division. Get a big upset and rematch. Bet money on upsets. It looked fake, Amanda looked awful to get beaten by those ugly punches.

Kayla Amanda is basicaly Kayla by sub or Amamda by tko or someone by decision. So Kayla could be able to win the grappling and Amanda is not gona lose the striking.

I'd guess current Amanda has almost no chance. Too old, too retired.
 
If the lioness comes back as anything remotley close to her old self she wins easily. She pieces Kayla up standing on any given day, & if it goes to the ground Nunes has the bjj to not only defend herself, but to catch Kayla with something.
 
This fight would be epic in FW, but BW Nunes has a massive advantage

Kayla: Elite grappler who can probably withstand the striker's huge strength because she's so large for the division


Putting it in perspective like that makes me realize that this is not particularly a toss-up after all and that Kayla is probably going to win.

I agree except that Kayla is really having troubles with the weight cuts. Will this be the fight it has an effect in? I wish this was at 145lbs.

“Coming out of retirement” fights seldom end well for the athlete.

Terrible take. Nunes has the most overrated ground game in the division, while Kayla has the strongest.

I don't get where this shitting on Amanda's ground game or overall wrestling comes from. Amanda's showed us she's a beast there she's never been taken down or controlled when it wasn't from her punching herself into exhaustion SO sure question cardio but to say Amanda's not also a strong grappler blows my mind.
