Cryptocurrency - a few tips from an old hand

Well hopefully Im doing something right then, since those are on the watch list already... Appreciated

Looks like QSP is already on a tear...

Aside from reddit thread scanning, have any recommended sources for info? Any people in particular?

Good looking out

Happy Hunting

OSS *fist bump*

Good research if these are already on your list! Yes QSP is already a mid-cap, so the three I listed have way more room to explode over the short term.

I see all three offering greater than 10x returns over the year.

Check out ICO bench for upcoming ICOs, but be careful about going to deep into ICOs as most are rubbish.

Oss!

What is the cheapest way to get money on binance? Was gonna move bitcoin from coinbase but they were gonna charge 35 bucks.

I am very new as well. I been trying to buy ripple since it was at $1.90. I noticed the same as you did. I had $60 worth of Bitcoin in my wallet at coinbase and was going to transfer to Binance and they wanted to charge me $15. That is a 25 % fee.

So I did some digging and found out that there is less fees when transfering ETH so I purchased $250 ( Max allowed for new members ) at Coinbase and transfered that to Binance. The fee was $10 for the purchase and $4 to transfer. $1 less to purchase and move $250 of ETH then what I was being charged to move $60 of Bitcoin.

I read that LiteCoin is even cheaper but have not checked yet.

Side Note: If you are making your first purchase with Coinbase they may hold your transaction for 72 hours. As that is what happened to me. I got my $250 of ETH stuck in transit as I watch the price of Ripple grow.

Coinbase is a scam. As are most exchanges. That is one of many things that will cause this crypto thing to come crashing down.

Here is my advice: stay away from it all. There are no coins with "good fundamentals" All these currencies are gonna do what exactly? What is the end game?

They are gonna end up like beanie babies or disco records. They are short term collectibles. The SEC and even these exchanges themselves are warning people how risky investing in this shit is. They are giving disclaimers over and over. They are also insider trading. Manipulating prices and everything else. It is full of scammers.

Too bad, your money would have gone 300X if you had invested in Ethos at ICO.

Please - enlighten us with your picks.

You could get a similar return on beanie babies at one point too. Now they fill garages.

Here are some of my picks that I have gotten good returns on just this week. 100% in one day.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ----- Is the end game ...

From my limited knowledge of Ripple

I am new as I said but Ripple is unlike other crypto currencies that I have researched. Bank(s) are / will be involved with ripple if it takes off. It is to improve on the current swift system banks use. Ripple is much faster and cheaper then the current system. At least that is my understanding of the project.

So Ripples end game would be become to new swift.

I think any person with knowledge will agree that bitcoin is dead. It is like myspace. It is finished. crypto isnt finished but there are so many competitors I just stay away. One or more of these coins may work out in the future. Bitcoin will not. And when Bitcoin crashes it could take a lot of other coins with it just by association. It could affect the whole market.

Plus the criminality of the exchanges. Another thing that is gonna kill it. Some exchanges finally stopped accepting accounts after they couldnt pay or service their existing customers. I would be furious with these people. site goes down with every major move. lol. They wont let you sell high or buy low. Cuz the site will be down during changes. Like clockwork. While the exchange people profit and buy it up and you sit there on your hands and watch thousands of potential profits vanish.

They are manipulating the price that way.

Like, I just showed how the price of a stock I own went from 1 dollar to 2 dollars in one day. I actually bought it before at like 80 cents. When it hit 2 I sold. If I was on coinbase. I couldnt do that. no 100% profit. You know pissed that would make me? that is the mo of these exchanges. time is of the essence in trading. I would have seen that price jump, log into my brokerage account to sell and profit and would get a big FUCK YOU from Coinbase. They do this to countless people. As do other exchanges. Read reddit subforums on these exchanges. Countless stories with screenshots. Lost money in 6 figures. Giving these exchanges your money is easy, getting it out is not.

In fact, I visit the Coinbase Subreddit daily just for the LOLs. The people crying about how they got ripped off. Never gets old. A dozen new threads everyday on it. Their Christmas was ruined. It was rent money, etc lol. It is an example of stupidity being painful and I like that.

And not only that, then they screw you when its at rock bottom and don't let you buy. I hate Coinbase with a passion, I still use them because I'm a lazy twat.

You need to create a wallet for the coin they want then go to thier website and follow thier instructions. Then they will send the tokens to your wallet.

Make sure you are at the real ICO site as there are fake copy sites.

Exactly. They are protecting the price it isnt even a secret anymore. Get this. They are investigating THEMSELVES for insider trading. lol. This shit is totally unregulated so the regulators cant do shit. They did halt some blockchain stocks though that were clearly deceptive.

Oh no...I attracted Johnny Bones Jones to this thread, what have I done.

Ok my friend, I've seen your frankly one-sided posting on the other crypto thread so I will just let you vomit out your message and be done with it - crypto currency is a big scam, all these coins are not worth investing.

Here's one to ponder for you as a parting shot.

You talk about investing in 'real' companies. What makes a company 'real'? You do realise, that a company is a mythical construct, and is only real because a bunch of people have a mutual belief in it.

In that vein, virtually any social construct or shared system of beliefs can be 'real' as long as enough people mutually believe in it. If you talked to medieval scholars about investing in stocks, they would have called you a scam artist. In the same way you are talking about crypto currency now.

This is how humans have been able to organize themselves to run a society with billions of people, through shared fictional beliefs. And these keep changing and shifting - some people just get with the program a bit later.

So today's fiat money for example, is only 'real' because people believe it to be real. If tomorrow, most people believe real money is digital currency and ecosystems, then that is what will be real.

There were plenty of people just like you, taking the piss out of the internet before it took over the world. So I don't blame your ignorance on your personally, it's a fairly typical mentality - most people are not early adopters or disruptors.

And as for your paltry stock market gains, $1k invested in Verge last year would have given you back $14.2 million over 12 months. That is a 1428500% return. Show me any stock in history that has done that.

Good luck to you sir, but kindly spare me your input.

Not this stupid argument. Same argument for the Gold Standard and same overlap of idiots.

Yes, the dollar is only worth something because the US Government says it is. But guess what? The United States is a fuckin powerful force. It's like saying rape is only illegal cuz the government says it is. Well....so? You gonna rape people now? These "fiat" laws will still be applied to you.

Our language is fiat. Why not invent your own language and see if it catches on? People tried that and failed. People also once believed that beanie babies were worth a lot. That belief has since vanished. Everybody still takes cash.

You sir, are truly an arse scratching idiot. Pardon my French.

The US government does not rule the world. Cryptocurrency is a global phenomenon. Secondly, the whole point of the blockchain is to be de-centralised, and be immune to institutional control. China already tried to shut down the crypto currency movement - newsflash, it did not work.

Most regulators and governments are now working WITH blockchain companies - I know this because I work closely with UK regulatory programmes looking to adopt crypto currencies into the biggest banks on Earth.

Thirdly, your analogy makes no sense. Rape is illegal because it is morally wrong to rape someone. It is not morally wrong to start using digital currency over fiat money. As I said before, money, governments, and economic paradigms are simply human shared myths - that can change at anytime. Rape is not a shared myth, it is a real physical crime that inflicts harm on another individual.

Now have a seat, let the adults talk.

The us government isn't what gives the dollar it's value. It's people usage, belief in, and widespread adoption of the dollar that makes it worth what it is. Also being the global reserve currency for oil. But that is going away and people's belief in the dollar is weak.

Oh god shut up. The US Government is powerful enough to make the dollar a legal tender to everyone in this fuckin country and most the world.

IT is morally wrong to rape? Where is that written? Where is the objective source? All ethics are fiat.

Can we apply for a restraining order on this guy on behalf of crypto threads?

Rape causes harm and suffering, this is a fact. Therefore it SHOULD be wrong. If you think it is okay, then that is your system of belief.

Cryptocurrency is simply a shared system of belief, just like fiat money is. So fiat money is easily replacable if a better alternative comes along.

'All ethics are fiat?' Not sure whether you actually speak English very well; what exactly are you trying to convey here?

You cannot get an ought from an is. Things like science describes the universe, it offers no prescription. It is indifferent to rape. So if you are happy with fiat ethics, take your fiat money and pipe down.

Aristole Plato and Socrates thought slavery was ok. Are you more right than them? They are just the fiat ethics of the time.
