You could get a similar return on beanie babies at one point too. Now they fill garages.
Here are some of my picks that I have gotten good returns on just this week. 100% in one day.

I made real money on these. Instantly. And they will still probably go up.
and they are real companies.
Oh no...I attracted Johnny Bones Jones to this thread, what have I done.
Ok my friend, I've seen your frankly one-sided posting on the other crypto thread so I will just let you vomit out your message and be done with it - crypto currency is a big scam, all these coins are not worth investing.
Here's one to ponder for you as a parting shot.
You talk about investing in 'real' companies. What makes a company 'real'? You do realise, that a company is a mythical construct, and is only real because a bunch of people have a mutual belief in it.
In that vein, virtually any social construct or shared system of beliefs can be 'real' as long as enough people mutually believe in it. If you talked to medieval scholars about investing in stocks, they would have called you a scam artist. In the same way you are talking about crypto currency now.
This is how humans have been able to organize themselves to run a society with billions of people, through shared fictional beliefs. And these keep changing and shifting - some people just get with the program a bit later.
So today's fiat money for example, is only 'real' because people believe it to be real. If tomorrow, most people believe real money is digital currency and ecosystems, then that is what will be real.
There were plenty of people just like you, taking the piss out of the internet before it took over the world. So I don't blame your ignorance on your personally, it's a fairly typical mentality - most people are not early adopters or disruptors.
And as for your paltry stock market gains, $1k invested in Verge last year would have given you back $14.2 million over 12 months. That is a
1428500% return. Show me any stock in history that has done that.
Good luck to you sir, but kindly spare me your input.
