***Conor is setting up the biggest fight in UFC History***

When Conor beats Nate it actually sets up a good story line for McGregor vs Nick Diaz.

That's a fun theory. But I don't see it happening.

I think he's going to call out brock actually. It is where the money is at......

The only thing Conor is setting up is the biggest fall in UFC history.

Connor is fighting the wrong Diaz IMHO...

I never said take a back seat money wise... where do you get this from?

Sorry, just felt like what you were saying. I can't see GSP doing it for less than a 50/50 cut or even more.

While GSP is the bigger fight, Robbie is more winnable for Conor simply because Robbie will stand with him. Its still a dangerous fight but Robbie has been in b2b wars lately so who know's how long his iron chin will hold.

I agree.. I'm just saying the amount they both could make would be very tempting, especially for GSP, considering this could be an easy fight for him to come back to.

Conor's game plan is to make crazy $$$ and get out, right? He obviously likes looking good while putting on a great show, he's enjoying the spot light, having fun, etc. So why does he take the Diaz fight at 170?! It's not because the fans want to see Conor v Diaz. This fight really doesn't make much sense other than it's oddly entertaining. The reason is, if he does beat Diaz, which I'm still nervous about, he's going to call GSP out of retirement... and then the earth will shattered because GSP will accept that fight. Done.
And GSP will easily win that fight. Done.

Expected thread to be about Nick Diaz.

Yeah everyone wants to see that fight, but Nick just never actually wins any of these kind of fights. GSP is different.

Here's a crazy, novel idea. How about defending the belt he has since there are clear cut challengers to it? I know that's a crazy proposition but maybe, just maybe they will let the FW division keep moving

This is something i've considered too, I think it could very well happen.

What a lot of people don't seem to understand is that Conor doesn't care about the potential of losing a fight as much as many people think, he wants to be an all time great and make 9 figures in the process and to do that he is willing to take fight that people say are risky, he will be the biggest draw in the sport even after he loses a fight in the UFC.

Conor would take that fight in a instant, and eventually all the haters will realise he's not like the rest, and even if they never like him, they will learn to respect him if they haven't already.

Respect him ? For taking the highest paying fight in UFC history ??? 99% of sherbros take that fight. With bigger fighters than GSP, that could possibly kill them. No... he gets no respect for a no-brainer.

And GSP will easily win that fight. Done.

No doubt... but both will come out winners. Conor will have made an extreme amount of $, only to lose to the GOAT at a higher weight class, while still retaining his belt. So he will still be viewed as the man. GSP will have knocked the ring rust off and made a boat load of cash too... AND the UFC will have made millions upon millions. Done.

I agree with everything you said except GSP being the GOAT lol
