I'm not saying it would be a good matchup for Connor....but it would make more money than any other fight that you could possibly put together. Fucking all of Ireland and Canada would be here...

This is something i've considered too, I think it could very well happen.

What a lot of people don't seem to understand is that Conor doesn't care about the potential of losing a fight as much as many people think, he wants to be an all time great and make 9 figures in the process and to do that he is willing to take fight that people say are risky, he will be the biggest draw in the sport even after he loses a fight in the UFC.

Conor would take that fight in a instant, and eventually all the haters will realise he's not like the rest, and even if they never like him, they will learn to respect him if they haven't already.

I agree with you it's probably a huge payday. I guess what I feel is that Gsp was one of the highest paid UFC fighters ever and any fight he gets will be big money. I do not think he comes back even for that fight. Sadly I will add.

His 170 talk is a bit to much, Robbie beats Connor, Rory would throw him over the cage, hector Lombard might actually kill Connor.

I am a huge Robbie Lawler fan and i politely disagree. I think Connor actually matches up very well against Robbie.

I agree with you that Rory would destroy Conor:

Lombard if he can pass a pee test would also be dangerous until Lombard gases, which he will.

There are more bad matchups than favorable ones for Conor at WW but I think he matches up very well wth Robbie 2.0 who has traded a decent amount of his power for a style more suited to winning rounds/fights in the UFC.
Robbie gets hit a LOT these days and Connor is easily more accurate than Hendricks who hit Robbie all night. I could see Conor winning a hard fought decision or maybe even getting a controversial stoppage by way of knockdown.

it's no secret that he's in this for the fame and money... the extreme stardom.... that would put him/UFC over the top. There is no other fight, currently, for Conor that would do this.
