Conor is light years ahead of Floyd in PPV performance

He is also the first "smaller" fighter to ever do astronomical PPV numbers.

There would be no McGregor without Floyd Mayweather. Floyd set the table for these fighters to be PPV stars.

You're welcome.

Ray Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya were first. In fact Oscar is the reason Floyd really blew up as a star after their record breaking fight. Oscar was the one who set the table in the modern era, Floyd just took it a whole new level.

Floyd didn't have The UFC marketing machine and fight cards helping him.
Conor leaves the UFC, and tries selling PPVS on his own, without their fighters on his cards and he'd be lucky to break 700k

Oh yeah, Floyd was an independent boxer who had no promotion or money or hype behind him. Lol @ you

Conor says money is all that matters, by his own metric Floyd has a massive lead in life success.

Conor had 99% of the UFC marketing machine behind him.

Just ask the 499 other fighters the UFC barely mentioned.

Why was Conor chosen to by the UFC to market in the first place? I think it's because they recognized his capabilities and want to capitalize on his potential. Not a lot different than Floyd's current interest in Conor.

You know next to nothing about the sport if you think lebrons not in that discussion and has a legit case.
You know next to nothing about the sport if you think LeBron has surpassed Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all time. The NBA actually considered changing their logo to that of Jordan's famous dunk symbol. Yea, call me when LeBron has achieved such greatness.

That's how you measure it Jordan is brand. You talk about his brand. Hahahahahahhaha. Lebron would eat Jordan up. Would've even be close.

Jordan played in an era where LeBron wouldn't last. You talking about a player who flops if he gets looked at funny by a defender. It was cute when his bitch ass flopped when no one made contact with him that one game. Give it a rest newbie.

I can tell you know nothing. So a 6'5 220 lbs guy can make it but a all American highschool football player that's 6'8 280lbs wouldn't cut. "Oh but it's not the size, it's the heart". Stfu. Lebron would run through that NBA because he was the biggest/fastest by far. He would destroy that league worse than the one he's destroying now. Lebron was actually born to late as this style doesn't benefit him as much.

Man, the Connor fanatics never stop...
The ONLY way Connor can compare to Mayweather is if he leaves his promoter, starts his own, and still becomes a runaway success.

And then...

Have Connor get a 200+ million dollar paycheque he still hasn't touched one dime of because he doesn't need to.

C'mon with this stuff man.

One thing to remember.

Flyoyd has access to uk ppvs whereas connors fights do not.

I wonder how many ppvs floyd owes to the uk buyers.

The listings for Mayweather's PPV buys are for HBO only. The buys in the UK aren't included. But if they were, for one example, Mayweather would have had over 2 million buys in total against Hatton.

"Mayweather's 10th-round knockout of England's Ricky Hatton to retain the welterweight championship Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas generated a whopping 850,000 domestic pay-per-view buys and $47 million in television revenue, HBO PPV's Mark Taffet said Monday."

"The Ricky Hatton-Floyd Mayweather WBC welterweight showdown 11 days ago in Las Vegas will break all Sky Box Office pay-per-view records in the UK, with estimates as high as 1.2 million buys."

Ok so we dont have a proper picture of floyds ppv's if the uk numbers arent included. Just going by hbo seems a bit redundant....

So floyd and pacs ppv numbers only included the nth american market then ?

Look at this little shitbird right here.

Look, dumb fuck, in Jordan's era, routine fouls were damn near flagrants. You didn't get the kind of calls that Lebron gets in those days and of course, you think Lebron could get away with his CONSTANT traveling back then ?

Also, are we even going to debate a 1-1 between Jordan and Lebron ? Lebron can't shoot worth shit and wouldn't be able to drive on a prime Jordan without traveling the fuck out of his steps. Jordan would kill him with that mid-range jump shot all night.

Fuck out of here, dipshit.

Lololololol. You forgetting something. Lebron would be allowed to hit back. Good luck getting up when lebron is patrolling the lane. Jordan would get demolished. You act like lebrons soft because he's playing the rules.

And one on one??? Not even close. Would be a mismatch. Lebron would take Jordan in the post and it's not even close. You're an idiot if you think one on one Jordan gets it done. That wouldn't even prove anything though because jordans just not big enough to guard him. That mid range game of Jordan's that had him shooting under 50% his whole career? That mid range game. Go to sleep

Mayweather was the first guy with astronomical PPV numbers for a "smaller guy" is what I said.

Oscar led the way for Floyd to become the A-Side, but Oscar has never done the numbers Floyd ended up doing - Mayweather took it up a notch.
