Charles Oliveira is a free agent

Top contender in the prime of his long standing ufc career. Pay the mine right.

As of the moment re signing with the UFC is the only viable option in terms of MMA fighters. Only .Org willing and trying to host events. If he does re sign with the UFC I hope he gets a good bump in pay.

That's actually not awful. I agree, better than I thought his contract was.

150/150 and a serious bump for any title fight is probably the deal he's offered.

It's because he's been in the UFC forever and he doesn't really go on losing streaks that would devalue him much. Not to mention he's a finishing machine.

He's awesome to watch. One of the handful of guys I don't want to miss nowadays.

The kind of guy you'd really hope they pay...

Dana will tell Oliveira he should show more gratitude as they only fed him cans.
I bet Dana already picked someone in top 5 to say Oliveira was afraid of in case negotiations fail. :v

one of the most entertaining fighter to watch, if not the most, deserves a big paycheck
being on the feet or ground, he's always super active and dangerous, I hope UFC doesn't let him go like they did with Mousasi

Charles Oliveira put himself in excellent position to renegotiate a new deal by choking Kevin Lee with a guillotine at UFC Brasilia on March 14. He completed his UFC contract with seven straight wins in less than two years.

“We’re going through very difficult times with the coronavirus, so it’s in (my managers’) hands,” he told MMA Fighting. “‘Macaco’ called me 15 of 20 days after the event and said he spoke with (UFC matchmaker) Sean (Shelby), and Sean said they would wait for this whole coronavirus thing to be over to sit and talk. We know the contract with the UFC is over, but it will definitely be renewed.”

Da Bronx is on fire. Will UFC cough up the cash?
Yes I hope so. He's ready to fight top contenders now. It's either now or never for him. I can't wait to see him fight again.

He could try and negotiate a straight 220 instead of keeping the win bonus structure. I think he’s earned that much at least and it wouldn’t be asking too much.
I dont see them giving him much more than that. I hope he gets 150-150 at least though.

He makes 110k-110k which I'm really surprised hes getting. Good for him but dont see him getting much better honestly.

It could still be much better, but fighter pay does seem to have improved. When you look at the payouts 5-10 years ago there wasn’t usually that many guys on a fight night making 6 figures and on the high end of 5 figures.

I agree. He deserves 250k-250k or even a flat fee of 500k but wont see that unless champion. Pay has gotten a lot better as I was looking at some old payouts and its absurdly low.

Who is Bellator's highest paid fighter? Can they afford to pay him 150/150?

150K a fight with a 100K win bonus seems in his future

Reebok coupons and a bag of chips.

That's how gunt got that 600k deal. So Oliveira will probably be offered like 50/50...
Hunt got the big money deal because he was main eventing sold out shows in Australia and New Zealand before they had other big names like Whittaker, Izzy, Volk etc

Sounds like he’s making ok money, probably wants a title eliminator and I dont blame him
