There's just so many factors contributing to this I don't see how you can fix it.

Obviously housing cost is the number 1 issue.
Personal debt is a huge factor.
But the social factors are huge too.
You have kids being told from a young age that it's better to be gay or trans than straight and that you should spend your 20s doing a bunch of shit that makes you a less desirable mate once you hit 30.

The good news is every after a total societal collapse, a new society will emerge.

So at this point, we just gotta ride it out.

Again you seem to the think of the concept of an anchor baby is new while not recognizing the same basic concept and result existed prior but was just live in a time now where laws better define the path to citizenship.

BUT IF IT IS THE RESULT YOU DO NOT LIKE, you should also hate the prior generations of immigrants who came here via OPEN BORDERS, and had their babies while none of them were citizens, and then at some point applied to be recognized as a citizen.

You should hate them as the people who had immigrated in the prior waves hated them, back then, as this immigrant hate is nothing new. It is FACT that once one wave of immigrants arrived and settled in and saw themselves now as 'American's', they then typically began hating on the next group, that followed the same path in they and their forbearers took.

Yes. Increase supply. Not only in Vancouver, but all of Canada. Huge tax incentive to build (removal of GST on building). Remove carbon tax on everything to free up more $ to afford houses and further lower building material prices. Shall I keep going?
