Calzaghe will stop Pavlik if they meet

Yeah, but I'm from England, and we dont like the Welsh! :D

But, having watched both of them alot, i just think Pavlik's style is tailor made for Calzaghe... I was impressed with Pavlik's second victory over Taylor, but it still didn't show anything unexpected other than he's a better boxer than some give him credit for, and Taylor is still living off his narrow Hopkins wins. I could see another Lacy type performance from Calzaghe if these two meet... I think RJJ would give Calzaghe more problems than Pavlik.

Plus, im talking a Calzaghe type stoppage from a barrage of slap-like punches, not a one punch KO leaving Pavlik out cold!!

Yea - But Calzaghe was born in London!

Cotto overrated? He is the man to beat after he beats Margiritto. He will have ran over every other Welterweight in the division except for Mayweather.

No doubts there. If Cotto gets past Margiritto and Mayweather decideds to fight Hatton again, I'm going to be pissed. He'll definitely stop being my favorite fighter.

Hate to go off topic even more but mayweathers next fight is aghainst dlh. I think cotto will fight dlh after margarito and if he beats dlh he will fight mayweather.

You're just shocking really, Pavlik is over-rated you'll all see, Im not saying he's going to lose to Lockett or anything stupid like that but when I say him and Cotto are over-rated I don't mean that they are not any good as they obviously are but they are not as good as people think they are.

People saying Cotto could beat Mayweather LMAO get a fucking clue!

And Pavlik will fall against any of the names mentioned he's not even the best in his division, Wright would beat him and if he steps up Jones, Hopkins or Calzaghe would destroy him to.

So get a clue noobs! :D

Anybody who thinks Roy Jones now or even crispy cream eating Wright could beat Pavlik now is out of their mind and shouldn't be calling people noobs.

I think we are being invaded by the eastsideboxing forum.

Atleast you have come forward with your points and presented your arguement unlike everyone else who just jumped on me without making any good points of their own. Firstly Yes Cotto is good but top 10 p4p I don't think he deserves to be there yet.

Cotto is undeafeated and anybody who knows anything about boxing knows he's an absolute beast. I had doubts about him but his chin looks solid now that he isn't cutting and if you don't think he's top ten after the Mosely fight you're completely clueless.

KO Ricardo Torres (Only losss)
KO Carlos Quintanna (Only Loss and just beat Paul Willliams)
Beat Malinaggi (Only Loss)
Beat Shane Mosely
KO Judah

Cal will give Pavlik a boxing lesson and pick him apart for 12 rounds. Pavlik will then crash mentally.

How is Pavlik any worse than Bika or Salem?

Yes, because we all know how pavlik crashes mentally( If you don't crash mentally after getting brutally knocked down by the reigning champion, who at the time, was undefeated against great opposition I dont think "wilting" is an option especially against someone like Joe ). If a 43 year old hopkins dropped him (not too mention the fact that I thought bernard won a clear as day decision) what makes you think a younger, hungrier, and more powerful champion wont take him out?

If you think Bernard Hopkins won a clear as day decision againt Calzaghe, Im sorry to say the rest of your post becomes irrelevant.

I agree that Clear as day may have been a bit extreme. Did Hopkins win the fight ,IMO yes. If you think one persons point of view on something makes an entire post irrelevant then youre whole outlook on life is flawed.

If you think one post indicates anything in regards to "my entire outlook on life", then you are a homosexual.

So you're agreeing that Tam's statement was valid then you say his entire perspective on life as flawed - not a solid defense.

Boxing has rules:
* Count the number of punches thrown.
* Determine who pushed the action, i.e. aggressor

Hopkins was a worn down piece of boot leather by the 12th. Survival mode isn't going to make you victorious in any combat sport:

Just for reference, this was a close fight. Neither guy won "clear as day". Sometimes (read: often) I wish that boxing fans could accept a close fight for just that.

I'm not saying he's not good but you idiots thinking he is going to beat Mayweather what are you smoking??

Great win against an ageing Shane Mosley by a round or 2!!! Mayweather would have schooled Mosley and you know it!!
