Boxing Trainer says Masvidal wouldn't get blown out by Canelo

When Canelo was just beginning his amateur career Jorge was knocking grown men out.

I think this is the worst argument I've ever read on sherdog. And as you can imagine, that's an award that has some stiff competition.

Since then Canelo has gone out to rule boxing whilst Jorge is a ufc midcarder who has had a good year. Canelo would destroy him in a boxing ring.

This articles interesting. They showed Joe Goosen Ngannou, Stipe and Masvidal fights and he broke down their boxing. Basically said Stipe has a good right hand but leaves his head straight up. He said Ngannou is decent with his counters. Then when he got to Masvidal he was pretty blown away. He didnt dismiss his chances vs anyone in any discipline even Canelo.

I agree, Jorge is one of the best boxers in MMA and has been boxing for like 20 years. He would hold his own with Canelo if he got the time to prepare.

Canelo would absolutely RUIN Masvidal no question. Anything for that pr attn nowadays sheesh. I guess a hustler has to hustle no matter which way he can ey. Even if it meant his own head removal

Of course there. Just like there are athletes in every sport who suck. Not saying Masvidal's boxing sucks, but there is literally nothing he can against Canelo in a boxing ring aside from getting KOed (depends on how his chin takes it, but most likely outcome).

Its a lot easier becoming a pro mma fighter or getting to the top of mma than it is boxing. 90% of mma fighters are guys who left other sports and settled on mma
