Bo Nickal is a fighter. You are not*.

Nobody has forced him to be an arrogant prick. That´s on his own.
But I wonder how Bo got to be the favorite against a proven double champ from another org. He has done nothing (except at wrestling, what isn´t MMA) what would justify that. On my book RDR was the favorite and it was not even close.
I watch other orgs as well if I have the opportunity. And deRidder was on my radar for a long time now, even if I never thought he would end up in the UFC. Not skill wise but I didn´t think he needs that challenge. That´s the only point I was wrong about him.
That people say he is a can in striking is ridiculous, it seems they have never heard of the biggest kickboxing/thai-boxing scene in Europe in the Netherlands. He showed everyone what kind of fighter he is or can be.

For your perspective - I don't like Bo. I rarely watch anything but the fight, however, I caught a few of his ramblings.
His loss satisfies me.

What I'd guess are a majority of replies here, miss the point.

He is a fighter.
You are (probably) not.

I made this thread after endless streams of posts that are beyond criticims and into the realms of fucking stupidity.

There used to be moderation, over-moderation I think, but now it's open game to talk absolute smack about people who fight for a living.

A forum it may be but it's also chock full of pieces of shit who would never make it through a basic class of sprawling and shadow boxing.

I am having fun seeing Bo's wake up call. He is still a public figure to some extent - ridicule is fair game.

But also remember; you are a forum poster. Not a fighter.

Very few people can be, or will be a fighter of any kind.

Some of you need wake up calls.

* There are some fighters on the forum - your opinion is much greater in the context.
This position of authority to make judgement is nonsense.

Can an ugly person identify an attractive person? If a retard calls you smart, is the retard wrong?

Can an mma fan understand the difference between a good fighter and a bad fighter without being a fighter?

The person who is missing the point is you. You bought the Bo Nickal wolf tickets hook line and sinker.

The guy was a fraud that just got exposed. He had quit on on himself on the stool going into round 2, which is sad because, he didn't even receive damage in the first round. No real fighter would have quit like that.

you just chose the wrong guy to be a fan of.

I have fought. About 12 times. Bo is a soft quitter. Even forum goers could see that was as soft as baby shit.

That was a pathetic, soft performance. Even forum goers have a right to call that out.

OP you're trying to bring sense in a place where you're dealing with idiots.

They just merely exist on this planet to complain. As an example: Bo Nickal. They complain daily that the sport isn't developing new potential stars and prodigies. They also complain that those that show some talent have a lack of personality and aren't able to sell their image.

Then you got Bo who has both talent and a mouth that garners attention and once again, they complain.

It's never good enough. These are losers.
You have 6,000 posts on here, and a quick glance at your post activity shows you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed yourself. Maybe try this post with "we" instead of "they".

I'm not technically a fighter like Bo is, but I can hold my own against anyone on this planet. Not saying I'd win every time but you would have your hands full, I don't care if you're Francis Ngannou or whoever. I would probably be a small MW or big welterweight in modern MMA but size isn't everything.

Similar to Michael Jai White (schooled Jones in striking), who is possibly the best martial artist on the planet, or at least was in his prime, but just happens to not compete for various reasons.
Without AR you would do big po-po if facing big Frank, but then again i have similair mentalty , until i spar muay thai with similair build guys as me. Oh fuck i need to be humbled.

I don't understand the hate, the dude is ok as a personality. As for MMA, he's giving it a shot, he might not be the great prospect some expected, but whatever he gets in there and tests himself.

Big Bo 2.0 will be back, better, tougher and smarter
Then the haters will be crying again

Sensitive guy like yourself would cry if you ever visited the UG

I agree 100%
It comes down to whether people want to be fans of the sport and the athletes, or they just want to sh-post and criticize.

I’d argue that there are quite a few fighters who publicly fall into the second category.

The people who most irk me, are people like Sylvester Stallone who never competed yet benefited greatly from combat sports and the athletes yet still lambasts the foghters who sack up enough to step on the ring and find success at the highest level.

Bo got rushed and lost to a better, more experienced fighter. Is normal, especially with the UFC's approach to matchmaking.

Also, you don't have to be a fighter to comment on a fighter's performance. That's a silly argument.
Your assessment is thoughtful.
Many others’ are not.
