bjj competition records

My comp record is 55-8 in the gi. Most of my losses are from fighting up a rank in the purple belt division where my record is 12-5. 2 of my other losses are to Evan Gideon, the blue belt med heavy world champ, in the Pan Ams and the Mundials.

My no gi record is a stellar 0-0.

Sigh. Now you've gone and made me think about finishing off my spreadsheet.

Grrrr.

Give me a few days. ^_^

Take care,

Oli

no gi: 16-4 (beginner and intermediate divisons)
gi: 8-5 (all at blue belt)

Someone needs to teach me to make a spread sheet.

100-10 with women, 11-10 with men.

Of my 111 wins, 67 were finishes. The higher ranked I compete, the less I win by sub.

Every match you have just enter one line in the spreadsheet storing everything you want to about that match, win / lose, method, belt level (won't matter to you now, since you are black), etc.

then later you can do some formulas to get whatever information you want out of it.

like
=COUNTIF(RANGE, "W") to count your wins
=COUNTIF(RANGE,"SUB") to count how many by sub, etc.

True this. Though the belt level that she was competing at the time might be worthwhile (also the belt level of the opponent).

You could do it in a google docs spreadsheet if you want it to be more portable (and easily shareable).

Drop me a message if you need a hand working up a spreadsheet like that.

i love competition! but my record is not that hot.

so, in no-gi, judo and bjj my total record is 6-11.

want it to sound better? i have a silver and bronze from the Pan's. and a silver from world pro gi qualifier.

want it to sound worse? not a single win is by submission and one of them is by advantage and one by decision. i did not count the 3 times i have "won" by my opponent being DQed.

so yeah, i hope before i no longer compete i'm able to get my record to a winning one, or at least even...... not too many senior 1, pluma, purple belts....

3 wins (2 subs) and a first place in the one tournament
2 loses (1 sub)

3 wins, 3 losses

1 win via submission, 1 loss via submission (flying armbar)

11-14 overall
Nogi: 2-6 (1-3 at beginner, 1-3 at intermediate)
gi: 9-8 (5-3 at white belt, 4-5 at blue belt)

I find it interesting to keep track of "stats"
