Now 3 of those were related to the same Covid incident but it was multiple dates. He also badly missed weight against Diaz, but at a weight class lower. And he’s pretty inactive overall, typically fighting once a year recently. So while his pullouts may be a little overstated, there is reason he has a reputation of being unreliable.

It is only 2 time period. The Nate Diaz fight was a missed weight that is entirely something different.

The third fight cancellation on the Leon fight was not his fault but the UFC who desperately wanted that fight on again and nobody has signed on to anything. He was hospitalized and falsely dignosed with Cancer that is hard to believe he would sign onto anything even retired weeks after that he was fighting for his life and took him a year to recover. That one should not be listed as pulled out and only there due to technicality and should be corrected.

It is only 2 pull outs.

He sees Khamzat has 6 cancelled bouts and credits him all of it as the one who pulled out.

All you gotta do is click on the + figure in the right side and it will show who pulled out and why.

Chimaev has only pulled out of 2 fights in his UFC career and fought 8 and about to fight his 9th. If you doing some kind of punditry atleast do some correct research but this is just lazy putting out such half-assed videos with no research done.

I saw something today saying Khamzat is currently about 219lbs and having issues in camp, but it could be fake news because I can't find it again.

Just let the guy turn up, fight if he can and strip him if he doesn't fight again for a year after a win.
He had one exciting period in his debut and a brutal win vs Rob. Besides that his entire career in the UFC has been pretty shitty to be honest.

Not true in the case at issue. Missing weight and weighing in more than five pounds heavier than your on-weight opponent voids the fight contact under the unified rules. Unlike a smaller miss where the on-weight fighter can accept the fight at a catch-weight under the existing contact, there is no option for the fight to proceed. The fighters have to sign an entirely new contact if they want to fight, no different than signing an entirely new contact for a different date.

Semantics games don't make you right. You can cling to being "Technically Correct" but that isn't always "Right". When you become your own person with an established Identity separate from your favourite Band, favourite UFC fighter, etc then you will understand that.
