Bisping doesn´t know how to use Tapology and says Chimaev has pulled out of 6 fights

Maybe it’s just me but I think it’s fair to exclude the bouts affected by Covid. It was screwing up fights and events all around the world, not much anyone could have done.
I agree. That’s why I said the pullouts are a little overstated. But when you look at the whole picture, it’s easy to see why he has a reputation of being unreliable. Doesn’t fight often, has some pull outs, missed weight badly but luckily were able to shuffle things around.

I agree with TS. It is lazy and dumb, If you don´t know or if are not well informed about the subject you talking about.

What if I was a pundit an said Kimbo Slice was once a title chellenger in the UFC or DC never lost a fight in his UFC career.

Or how about this? Jared Cannonier was the champ for 2 years in the UFC between 2017-19
What in the hell does that have to do with what I said? You sure you quoted the right person?

I didn't agree, disagree, or address any of that. Perhaps you should reread exactly what you're responding to.

Prime Bisping vs Chimaev would be interesting. Bisping's TDD especially in his prime was the truth. Bisping always had pillow fists but his stand up was always technical & him defending the takedowns is what made him look better on the feet than what he really was.

That title is also disrespectful. Let the man first win the title and then call him out if he puts the division on hold.

This narrative has died completely and has been proven to be a fallacy. Chimaev has low pull out average
He only fights once a year though, missed weight massively and has threatened retirement a couple of times.

The MMA punditry is becoming more and more lazier and dumber. He clearly doesn´t know how to use Tapology.com.

He sees Khamzat has 6 cancelled bouts and credits him all of it as the one who pulled out. <lmao>

All you gotta do is click on the + figure in the right side and it will show who pulled out and why.

Chimaev has only pulled out of 2 fights in his UFC career and fought 8 and about to fight his 9th. If you doing some kind of punditry atleast do some correct research but this is just lazy putting out such half-assed videos with no research done.

Lmao he says at the beginning of the video that Chimaev pulled out of 6 fights <lmao><lol>

Funny how you say "Look it up on Tapology" and then get it wrong yourself. 2 cancelled fights against Leon due to his Covid, The Nate Diaz fight, Whittaker.

You are right it isn't 6. You are wrong it isn't 2.

They all just say retarded stuff for clicks…

I mean personally I wouldn't put the covid shit on Khamzat, he had 3 fights in 2 months in 2 separate weight classes his debut year. I mean he almost retired with how bad his covid was, that seemed out of his hands. Whether you want to say he pulled out 3 times or 1, he clearly was on a roll and wanted to fight, but couldn't get it done. Sadly, had we had this fight we could've avoided the "Leon era" which shit up WW.

So the guy had an amazing track record prior to covid. After spending a year from covid he resumed and still got 1 fight in 2021, a normal schedule for 2022 (standard 2 a year), but he stupidly rehydrated when told by doctors for Nate when he was cutting weight, and people think he showed up that he showed up 178lbs and couldn't cut more. Also his only weight miss. Still fought Holland and subbed him round 1.

Something happened after this fight that no one knows. Nate was supposed to be busy work for Khamzat's WW titleshot, but UFC didn't seem to want to give a titleshot to so someone who missed weight. So guess Khamzat's team decided to jump to MW. But the move took a whole year and he ended up fighting a last minute Usman at MW, but still no one knows why there was such a long gap.

Scheduled for another big fight in June 2024, then his illness hits again, pushed 4 months to October 2024. Which goes back to his health problems. Still he beat Whittaker like no one did before, yet UFC ended up scheduling a Strickland/DDP rematch January 2025 in one of the worst cards.

So there is something besides the pullouts which is making Khamzat so inactive. If he becomes champ, maybe we'll have a better idea. Still seems like UFC has been having trouble with something getting him to fights. So whether it's 2 pull outs or 6, the biggest issue is something only his team and UFC knows. He's been shelved for no good reason and each year he was basically the most anticipated fighter yet only stepped out once a year.

Chimaev has way below the average UFC fighters pull out history.. That narrative is a fallacy and got countered and expelled like the devil.
That's hard to believe. Even if we go with 2 pull-outs, he's only had 8 fights to date in the promotion. 4:1 ratio is on the low end?

He is probably the fighter who gets the most abuse for pulling out and missing weight.

Charles Oliveira, 5 weight misses.

Sean Brady, 5 pullouts since 2020.

No other sport I've followed have fans as harsh to athletes who get sick or injured as in MMA.

Fans usually don't mock health issues in other sports, even if their rival teams players get injured.

So Brady pulls out more than Khamzat, and is less active, yet I've never heard this before. Weird.

"Paulo Costa, I can't remember what happened there...."

Poor Khamzat lol

He gets a lot of hate cuz his pullouts, weight miss, Visa issues, attitude, crypto scam, no showing events and not giving refunds
Stuff like that

He is also the most privileged fighter on the roster

If you are popular you get more hate when you fuck up a lot

All fan bases of all major sports are mostly ruthless and complete dicks
