My back is fried this week. I was working hard to keep my upper back tight and sitting up straight. I needed to throw my head back more.

Hike @ Picacho Peak

2.5hrs/4.2 miles/1375ft gain

This is a pretty step hike. At the halfway point the "trail" drops 900ft at the saddle and wraps around to the back of the hill, then starts climbing again. Lots of scrambling and cable handrails at steep points. This is my favorite short hike.

Fast off the floor today. Forgot to think "pull back" on the top set. Getting better. Now I'll need to work on my set-up with a belt. In the past its killed me off the floor, but helped thru the knee.
 
His 500 x 4 isn't even that good. I pulled 500 x 1.99948282 without headphones. So if I had headphones it would make it around 500 x 7.
 
If I were liquid when I maxed out I would pull 545 and then 585.

When I can hit his pr for a double or triple. Honestly, I might see want I'm good for in 5 weeks, at the end of the next 4wk cycle. I'm still planning on hiking the Grand Canyon in two weeks, and though I want to, I don't think I should try a max effort singles before then.

Zero and I need to work on our belted DL form. If I were 20lbs lighter it'd be easier, but as a semi-fatty I can't get a good breath with the belt on... and I've never been a good gripper and ripper. I'm liking NerdKing's DL rollout and back method, but maybe thats a bad habit to develop.
 
I don't know that it's a bad habit. It's legal in comps and guys like Benedikt Magnusson and Juoko Ahola always did it that way. Wendler does too.
