best wrestlers (in the world) are gonna get beat in Future UFC/MMA WRESTLING IS NOT BEST MMA BASE

MMA is the best base for MMA.

Just like MMA > singular martial arts.

YES

thats a FACT

"MMA" is a passe term that no longer means what it used to

kickboxing, wrestling and BJJ "GLUED" together is not how these athletes train anymore [the smart ones]

50? Not even, 5-10.

just learn to grapple enough to get out of inferior positions

most fights are won by strikes

look at all these elite wrestlers losing to strikes today

Oh the irony...

Still butt hurt over me exposing you in your other thread?

you can try to "expose" me all you want

one of us is a verifiable founder of American MMA and the other is a random sherdogger with a kitty cat avatar

Nah, dude. Karelin, one of the most beastly wrestlers of all time, would definitely lose to a guy in Walmart basketball shorts who gasses in seconds from throwing sloppy haymakers.

Looks like Mescaline Dreams' delusions of ko'ing Leben isn't the worst thing a Sherdog poster has claimed.

this guys is EXHIBIT A of american commercialized martial arts fallacy fanbois

values a fighter based on their swag

IM illegitimate because wore soccer shorts in some of my fights...LOL

Lol i call bs on you. The same year UFC 1 aired?
Noone in the US knew what MMA or fcking "Shooto" was. I just half the shit your claiming would be true, someone would habe heard about you or your gym since basically everybody who was only remotely involved in this, competed in tournaments or started training fighters to gain exposure and market themselfes.
You are only giving vague phrases. Name some names, drop some facts.
Because of this is true the history of the sport must be rewritten..
But i highly doubt it.

# 1 RECON me by perhaps reading my profile and researching it
# think
# respond to the thread

I already did.
I proved you cant even keep track of your own opinions.
You started posting videos and changed subject like you always do when you get exposed.
Its sad...

And no you are not a verifiable founder of American MMA...
You trained back in the day. Congrats so did I.
That does not make you a founder in anything more than your own mind.
But what ever you need to tell your self and us random sherdoggers to feel good about your self.

I'm not going to read all this, like 26 pages. THANK YOU, but no, so if anyone can help me I appreciate it.

Since when is wrestling a better base than any other? Instead of just being a matter of them being numerous.

And since when did BJJ stop being the best martial art (if there is one)? Isn't it the only one that NEEDS to be learned so you don't get your ass kicked? Even Khabib is learning ...

its a fallacy that there is a "best base" for MMA BESIDES MMA ITSELF

people dont go around talking about how rugby is the best base for football

or how racquetball is the best base for tennis

they haven't figured out THAT MMA IS ITS OWN SPORT not kickboxing and wrestling "glued" together

however

their primary exposure to martial arts is thru the american strip mall commercial martial arts world so they maintain a LOT OF FALLACYS!!!

I post videos and links to support my claims

I ran a kickboxing club when the UFC aired

we had about 15 members

I changed the format to MMA the next day....

We all came to the community center on SATURDAY Fri, Nov 13, 1993 at 10 AM and sparred MMA with the bruce lee jeet kune do gloves

I changed our newspaper ad from Louisville kickboxing club to the Louisville pankration club until the movie fightclub came out a few years later

from my profile:
I ran a muay thai club before Ultimate Fighting aired and of course it changed the world as we know it.

from then on out it became a mixed Martial Arts Club that literally welcomed anyone from any background to come train for free with us at the community center.

We had navy SEALS, NAGA champions, pro wrestlers, ninjas, weightlifters and even Pride veterans involved in the gym.

We eventually built a pro fight team and even though I moved away years ago that team still exists today.

I personally suffered greatly back in the day ...the no-holds-barred era of MMA was considered a blight and often times anyone participating in "cage fighting" was considered a ruffian thug

we were hated by the traditional martial arts community and discriminated against at every level in our personal lives and employment opportunities

Please remember that the guys that fielded Fighters back in the no-holds-barred era are the ones that set the stage for the wonderful mainstream sport we see today.

I had a high-profile job at the city level and had been running my little MMA gym out of a community center for many years without any trouble.

we finally got big enough to get a public access television show and soon after we were kicked out of the community center after one of the city managers saw the TV show, citing risk management they threw dozens of tax paying citizens out of the community center forever.

Even though our tax dollars paid to maintain the facility we were not welcome to participate in athletics there any longer because the city attorney's feared lawsuits and knew that a handful of poor guys we're unlikely to be able to hire attorneys and fight for their civil rights.

The Louisville MMA fight team still exists despite the discrimination that it suffered a long ago.... please remember that participation in mixed martial arts carries with it a cloud of suspicion that you are a violent dangerous person and it may cost you dearly in employment and in your personal life.

you're participation in MMA comes with a heavy burden, its not just the bumps and bruises of combat athletics,

They will fear you they will hate you they will discriminate against you...

you are carrying a heavier load then a normal athlete

Please remember we lost jobs we lost friends and we lost love over the sport we chose to participate in..

I have full confidence that one day MMA will make it back into the Olympics and Fighters won't be considered Ruffians on the fringes of society as we were back in the day...things are getting better but that's because of the sacrifices that we all made.

stick together as a community, you're an athletes representing a sport that carries with it some serious onus.

Even if that is true which i highly doubt thats way different than being a "founding father of MMA". Stop making shit up in your mind.

The person who can dictate where the fight takes place wins the fight most often. Karelin would beat a fat one year jv wrestler like you in mma without even training. He would probably ko you via slam within a minute tbh.

he couldn't beat a decent b grade MMA heavyweight like me

he could probably beat some privileged boy that idolizes MMA flop broc lesnar tho

I was one of the FIRST MMA GYMS IN American history son...

THATS THE LITERAL DEFINITION OF MMA founding father

we had our own TV show

# dont know who ur talking to

Na man im not letting shit like that stand. Name names my man. Who you trained with? What are your credentials?
People keep exposing you here since you cant even keep track of the little Script you wrote and add stuff to it to serve your claim.

Yeah that does not make you a founder of American MMA sorry.

Before MMA you had NHB fights which was outlawed in the early 1980ties I think it was Pennsylvania.
There has been mma like fighting before UFC 1 in US.
People cross trained for years before.
UFC just change the rule and manage to make it legal.
