Bisping- Anderson Silva and Luke RockholdGriffin beat number 1 Shogun then number 1 Rampage. Had to mention it cause Griffin gets underrated at lot.
Yeah that one is going to be hard too top for best 2 wins in a row.Back to back knockouts of Volkanovski and Holloway is insanely impressive
Then beat Machida. That's a good one too.Says a lot about Sherdog here that nobody wants to say Weidman beating Silva 2x in a row.
On paper absolutely. But people will inevitably bring up the flukines of them despite the fact he was playing Andersons head like a drum from top position before rhe finishesSays a lot about Sherdog here that nobody wants to say Weidman beating Silva 2x in a row.
Heath herring will always have his special place in mma history with the Kiss Nakao incident.Fedor running through Herring and Nog when he did was somethin somethin
If you watched PRIDE at the time these were the #1 and #2 guys, and the other russians who were from RTT (other than Sergei who showed up after) were seen as tough but outmatched guys when it came to the skills
Maybe taking down and dominated Schilt was plausible but beating the fucking shit out of Herring and Nog was really impressive.
Much as I hate to admit it, it's this.Back to back knockouts of Volkanovski and Holloway is insanely impressive
Don't!Sokoudjou little nog and arona back to back kos.
I don't fully agree.
Volkanovski was nowhere near 100% in the Makhacheve rematch, and even if he was fully physically recovered from that loss, his mindset was not. Volkanovski is one of the greatest FWs of all time and the best version of him could beat anyone in history on any given night.
Still an incredible pair of victories.

100% agreeAt risk of looking stupid, I still think volk has a decent shot in the rematch with the right gameplan, but obviously topuria should be the favorite at this point in their career.
100% agree
