I'll bet any amount of money (within reason) that Belal loses badly. I'll even pm you my cash app.Thought Shavkat would torch him, but Belal's pressure, pace and all-around game should favor him over Shavkat now.
Garry played very defensive, but Shavkat didn't look all too impressive in any aspect.
Shavkat had to dig deep in the trenches to take wonderboy down, he’s not a great wrestler. He’s a really tough guy thoughShavkat is who we thought he was. It’s gary who is much netter than expected. Though if i recall shavkat had trouble taking neal down early on?
Honestly this is why sparring partners and friends shouldn't fight, they know each other well and were cautious to leave each other openings. The way this went the older Shavkat gets the title shot, while Gary's stock rises somewhat and probably doesn't drop in ranking. Not a bad outcome for either guy. Some MMA fans are off their rockers.
I think he wanted to cook Ian by grappling w him early and just muscle him around. It was the smart move. Try to keep him from getting that range he's comfortable fighting in.I think Shavkat played it safe. His first five round fight maybe he was pacing himself knew he was ahead and didn’t want to take too many risks.
Styles make fights.

Size =/= height… Leon is bigger than both Garry and shavkat and Belal out muscled him easilyBelal is much smaller than Shavkat while Gary was even slightly bigger. There are a lot of other variables at play to make any conclusions.
we can also flip that and say Shavkat should be a level above Leon’s grappling, and Leon got Belal’s backYeah you cannot sit here and tell me that Belal isn't a level of ahead of Ian on the ground.
Belal will definitely outgrapple him through 5, he'll find easy takedowns on Shavkat.

You made this Cajun Google the word clairvoyant, never knew exactly what it meant. Lol,The Cajun Clairvoyant has spoken![]()
Good luck with that.Shavkat was out for a while so he might have a little ring rust, but I thought Belal would beat him before this fight and still do. Belal will dictate where the fight takes place via his superior wrestling. Belal just has to not clinch with him, he can control him on the ground via his conditioning and grind out a 5 round decision with relative ease.
