Barut's Death Squad (Squat Contest)

With low-bar, PL style squats, which I rarely do anymore, I place my hands as narrow as possible to help create the "shelf" for the bar to rest on.

With high bar oly squats, I just walk up and put my hands where everything feels most comfortable. I'd say it ends up pretty close to Lusst's grip w/ pinkies near the rings.
 
Workout:
I woke up and the crack of noon and ate a drumstick icecream cone. I am such a champion.

I still had 10-20 lbs in the tank.

Snatch Grip DL: Feet raised 3".

I always feel like my workouts look pathetic when I post them. It seemed like a good amount of volume at the time.

You let your arms down your sides as you do the sit up. It's easier to load sit-ups this way...for me anyway.

Nice squat, but you're cheating. Isn't this based on all time PR? Your PR post-layoff shouldn't count as your starting point, as I know you hit better than 400 before you took your break. If it does, then I'm adding Tayon to my team under his current max. Then, you'll all be fukt.

I guess anyday where you double your 1RM is a good day. I was kicking myself in the ass for not doing 450x2, I had another 5-10 pounds in me. The belt was throwing my form off a little, all this time without it made me a little rusty. SLDL where a bitch, I was exhausted from squatting.
 
+40 PR for 2 reps. My starting max was 445. My old 2RM was 405.

Today was not a great day. My legs are all beat up from MT last night. I have a huge bruise on the back of my leg that I think affected me more mentally than physically. I felt weak at 275 and barely hit 315. Next time I will show improvement.
