With low-bar, PL style squats, which I rarely do anymore, I place my hands as narrow as possible to help create the "shelf" for the bar to rest on.
With high bar oly squats, I just walk up and put my hands where everything feels most comfortable. I'd say it ends up pretty close to Lusst's grip w/ pinkies near the rings.
