Who had the better entrance?

Crowd reaction in the theater for both moments was absolutely huge. Awesome moments.

If Cap goes out on his shield in the next film, I imagine it's going to be some serious shit.

This movie is totally different from the comic book. Death and Adam Warlock are CENTRAL to the Infinity gauntlet.

They should at least let Thanos win in the end just like the comic book with him having a guilt trip and redo everything he did.

Ofcourse it is, its Marvel Cinematic Universe, not Marvel Comicbook Universe.

The movie is about Thanos and his journey to the infinity stones.

They cant make the plot entirely the same, otherwise it would be way to predictable

Thor's entrance is epic, but Cap's was a tone setter.
When it comes to your pick

That's the problem, Cap caught a thing and then the music played and the fight ensued

Thor shot lightning and the music picked up and then abruptly quiet - cut to Thanos quietly walking out of a wormhole to Titan

That sucks

But Thors was overall better.

Cap stood creepily behind a train and caught a spear while Black Widow and Falcon did all the work, then Cap walks over with a goofy look his face, still doing nothing and loses the spear to a teleport.

Cap did NOTHING

Meanwhile Thor showed up when everyone was getting ate by four armed monsters and put in legit work and turned the tide, and he physically did shit himself, again Cap stood around looking sexy and holding a trident

Yay cap?

Fuck cap

Jesus Christ Clippy. Have a snickers.

Don’t know if this is the right place to post this.

Does Cap pretend he can’t lift it? That’s the impression I got when I watched Ultron. It seemed to me once he budged it he realized he could lift it and then pretends he can’t.

If he can. Does this mean he’s worthy enough to lift Stormbreaker as well?

Okay, this is getting annoying. You realize that if Cap didn't recruit his team and lead them to find and help Wanda/Vision it was clearly implied Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive were going to succeed in defeating/killing those two, and there wouldn't be any need for the fight in Wakanda because Thanos would already have the Mind Stone?

Cap knows where everyone is because everyone trusts Cap. Why does everyone trust Cap? Even Tony trusts Cap despite their rift; it's Cap who is hiding from Tony. The reason everyone trusts Cap is because he is hands down the most worthy leader, and people will always seek out that person. They all know he will do the right thing, every time, all the time, regardless of the cost to himself. That's how he knew were Wanda and Vision were. They weren't hiding from Cap. I guarantee you there are people in the remnants of SHIELD and the established governments who leak everything to Cap, too, because even though he is technically a wanted criminal, none of them care, and none of them would arrest him even if they could.

I always took it as a he almost could but wasn't quite there type of thing. Loved the look on Thor's face when it moved.

Oh, can we all agree that this is the best dialogue in the entire movie?

Thanos: "I know you have the Reality Stone, Tivan. Giving it to me will spare you a great deal of suffering."
Collector: "I told you. I sold it...why would I lie?
Thanos: "I imagine it's like breathing for you."
Collector: (Smiling) "Like suicide."
Thanos: "So you do understand."

It then cuts to a reaction shot of Gamorra, and it's impossible to discern what her emotional reaction is, but it is a strong one.

Just brilliant.

Thor's entrance was good but no one was cheering in the theater like they were when Cap showed up.

People cheered in the cinema when Cap showed up. When Thor pushed the Outrider's shit in, the reaction was more, "That was fucking AWESOME!!!"

The Odinson by whatever the fuck he wants:cool:

Eh nothing happened when Thor showed up in my theater. I think it's because we already saw Thor make his appearance in the movie where as Cap was making his first appearance during his scene.. I also think Cap just has a bigger fan base than Thor.

That's what makes Thanos so special; he's not a one dimensional Big Bad. There is real depth and emotion. He has some of the best lines in the movie. Hell, some of the best lines in any MCU movie. His conversation with Tony on Titan is another good example,

"Stark".

"You know me?"

"I do. You're not the only one cursed with knowledge".

"But you have my respect, Stark. And I hope they remember you".
