Even when Strickland was champ most people didn’t see him as the best, when Fluffy smashes him this weekend it will confirm people’s belief that he was never that good, or perhaps to a few that he’s simply fallen off.
No Fluffy is just that good.

I am vocally on Fluffy‘s wagon. He has what it takes to even beat Khamzat.

I think we can all agree that if Strickland wins, it will likely be a boring jab/teep performance.

So I assume most of us are hoping that Fluffy KOs him. He can do it.

We may have forgetten some of his past fight ...

The first DDP fight was a gimme ... DDP face was all fucked up while Strickland barely gad a scratch ...

Plus he almost got the chinese dog diddler in the first ...

Fluffy is going to have to be able to keep Strickland down, which is very difficult.

Very interesting matchup, and if Sean is able to nullify Fluffy's wrestling enough to win decisively, I wouldn't complain if they give him Khamzat next over Imavov.

Strickland is extremely good at staying up. Really tough challenge, which is why the fact that I think when he does it people will just think Strickland isn’t good at it. I agree if Strickland were to win this it would be a really good argument that he would be intriguing against Khamzat.

Dude no one has put Stricklands lights out at MW other than Alex and Fluffy doesn't have KO power. Sean is the WORST match up for Fluffy in the top 3. 5 round cardio, solid boxing, great striking defense, good TDD, and is very hard to keep down for any long period of time. Fluffy is not going to be able to drown Sean like he has everyone else and he doesn't have the power to stop Sean from walking him down either. Sean is going to fraud check fluffy and win on points.

I love it, just doing agree with it. I appreciate the great respect you are giving Strickland, I think he is super under appreciated. He’s got the cardio, Tdd, excellent striking and very hard to finish. He is the perfect challenge for Fluffy. I just think Fluffy will pass that test.

Me too. Called Fluffy as Khamzats biggest challenge before fluffys last fight. Not yet sure who I’m going to pick when the time comes but he definitely has what it takes.

Fair enough. Fluffy running over Sean I believe is less about Sean and more about Fluffy but if Sean beats Fluffy that might not be about Sean it might be about Fluffy.
But as you said Sean is the hardest stylistic match up for him. Fluffy beat Allen at his own game and he went on to beat De ridder, but maybe that’s just because Whitaker has fallen off. But with Sean holding a win over imobov and a split loss to du plessis Fluffy has done everything but crack the top. Hard to say he couldn’t already be considered good, most that can be said was that he wasn’t as good as people think, over rated, hype train.
