International At least 7 explosions and low-flying aircraft are heard in Venezuela’s Caracas - Maduro captured

Do you approve of this operation?

Let me get this straight. You are saying the fentanyl drug crisis that has caused tens of thousands of deaths is a conspiracy theory? I'm confused what you are saying.

yeah and that is all coming in from venezuela i'm sure. because they are a well established producer and distributer of that shit. catturd told me.

The biggest fools are the voters for these presidents. They never had your interests at heart. When will you idiots learn ?

I hate Trump and don't trust him to pull this off without major complications for to his deep deficiencies in character and competence.

That said I think regime change in Venezuela was overdue and I suspect the country won't be as susceptible to falling apart like Iraq was.

If Trump can get rid of the Maduro regime and transition Venezuela to democracy that would be good.

You removed a president, not the cartels. This won't do shit. Did you remove the demand in the U.S. for cocaine? Did you remove the desire in Venezuela to make cocaine to get rich? Did you strip down the cartels who have streamlined manufacturing processes to make cocaine in bulk? No. I don't think anyone thinks Maduro was a good guy but if this is about drugs, this really didn't change anything.

Well 2026 starting off with a bang

Whats next taiwan?, greenland?,alien invasion?

America hasn't openly declared war since World War 2. Doesn't mean they haven't been at war.

True and fair point. All i'm saying is that this ain't a conventional war. It's more of a quick intervention or in the words of an infamous Russian president a "Special military operation"

China has become Venezuela’s primary commercial partner for oil sales, buying an estimated 80% of exports in November 2025 (about 746,000 bpd) and taking most fuel oil shipments (133,000 of 136,000 bpd) while also importing methanol and other products

The drug pretense always struck me as false and silly, it was about getting rid of Maduro. Does Trump care about democracy? Almost certainly no and one fear I have is that he tries to install an authoritarian loyalist.

But if Maduro is toppled, democracy returns to Venezuela, and there isn't long term instability resulting from the intervention then that is good for the world.

after cheeto benito gets done with seizing the oil he's after, i could see him trying to justify this by blaming the cartels and their cocaine, and then he goes and installs pablo escobar's son as their president and then he releases a bunch of drug lords from the venezuelan prisons and puts them into government positions.

Meanwhile in Mexico

‘Cease all drug exports to the United States effective IMMEDIATELY THIS IS NOT A DRILL’

those fentanyl-smuggling penguins over in heard and macdonald island must be fearing for their lives right now. those kingpins have had it pretty hard this year with all those tarriffs and shit, but now they gotta worry about getting carpet bombed.

You think Venezuelans won't be happy Maduro has been removed? He's a 2 bit used car salesman in a cheap suit. The guy aligned himself with the cartels as well as other communist totalitarian regimes. Hilarious the Chinese delegation was there to witness it.
Then we should free the Ukranians and Palestinians too since we love spreading freedom so much.

You do realize we snatched a sitting president in less than 30 minutes right?

GTFO hea with that horseshit

From Robert Kiyosaki's (the Rich Dad Poor Dad grifter and former Marine) facebook page:

BREAKING: President Donald J. Trump confirms “U.S. successfully carried out strikes in Venezuela,” as Maduro claims his wife was captured.
And once again, people think this is about politics…
or drugs…
or personalities.
It isn’t.
I’ve watched this movie before.
I Saw the Same Pattern With Saddam Hussein
In 2000, Saddam Hussein made a decision most people didn’t understand at the time.
He announced Iraq would sell oil in euros instead of U.S. dollars.
Three years later, Iraq was invaded.
No weapons of mass destruction were found.
But one thing did change quickly:
"Iraqi oil went right back to being sold in U.S. dollars."
People called it coincidence.
I called it financial reality.
This Is How Modern Conflict Actually Starts
Wars today don’t begin with bombs.
They begin with money.
The pattern is always the same:
• A country becomes financially isolated
• Sanctions restrict trade
• Currency collapses under inflation
• Foreign reserves dry up
• Energy exports become political
• Payment systems turn into weapons
By the time you see “BREAKING NEWS,” the economic war is already over.
What follows is instability, confusion, emergency powers, and force.
Why Venezuela Keeps Reappearing?
Not ideology.
Not leadership style.
Oil.
Venezuela holds one of the largest proven oil reserves on Earth.
Oil isn’t just energy.
Oil creates currency demand.
When a country with massive energy reserves becomes financially isolated — especially from the dollar system — pressure builds.
Quietly at first.
Then suddenly.
In the 21st century, power doesn’t come from armies alone.
It comes from systems:
• Payment rails
• Trade insurance
• Settlement networks
• Currency access
• Reserve status
You can have tanks, jets, and soldiers…
But if:
• your reserves are frozen
• your oil can’t be insured
• your currency can’t settle trades
• your access to global payments is restricted
You don’t control your country anymore.
This isn’t just about Venezuela.
Countries around the world are paying attention because the lesson is clear:
If your money runs on someone else’s system, you are not sovereign.
That’s why we’re seeing:
• BRICS expanding
• Alternative payment systems accelerating
• Central banks buying record amounts of gold
• Local currency trade agreements increasing
• Quiet reductions in dollar exposure
Not because the dollar is “bad.”
Because dependency is dangerous.
What My Rich Dad Taught Me About Times Like This
He said:
“When money becomes political, citizens lose first.”
That’s why I never trusted:
• paper savings
• pensions
• government guarantees
And why I continue to hold real assets:
Gold.
Silver.
Bitcoin.
Not because I want chaos.
Because chaos follows broken money, not the other way around.
The Real Warning Isn’t Venezuela
The real warning is this:
When financial pressure reaches a tipping point,
events stop being slow…
and start happening fast.
Most people react after stability is gone.
The educated prepare before the headlines.
History doesn’t repeat perfectly —
but it rhymes with brutal accuracy.
Take care.
