Call me an optimist but there’s more to this equation than just drug trafficking. China, Russia and Iran all have influence within those boarders and I think the intentions were a little more severe than the government has released. That being said, why there’s no disclosure of any of this intel to the public (supposing I’m right) is egregious. At least with Iraq the public knew the invasion was about WMDs, bad intel, but that message was delivered.

I hope this is the end and there’s no more strikes… maybe this won’t end in a civil war and more US involvement.
