Media Aspinall Senior goes on a cope session and damage control for Tom

I mean, i think the eye injury is legit. Yet i still think he quit. He coulda fought blind and swung for the fences. Prolly get ko'ed hard. Or he coulda done what he did and well see the rematch who knows when. I don't really give a shit anymore. Gane comes off as a goofball, tom's a quitter, and jones is a crackhead. welcome to mma.
Cmon you think Tom should've continued to fight with compromised vision which was caused an illegal move, from someone who was specifically warned to not do it?

If he had continued Gane would've 100% poked him in the eye again, he knew what he was doing. He just didn't expect it go south.

I've never seen so much deflection on sherdog before. Gane cheats causing the fight to be stopped...yet it's Tom's fault that Gane cheated, causing the fight to be stopped...
Jones fans were siding with Gane because they wanted him to lose. They're quite fine with cheating

What's your logic behind him continuing with compromised vision caused by an intentional illegal move from a guy who was already warned not to do it? Bravado?

We've seen guys get poked in the eye and come back to win. Werdum got double-fingered and it looked worse than what Tom got, but Fabricio fought through it and dominated.

Around 19:05, Andy goes on about Tom not knowing that his nose was busted and thought it was just sweat! "Tom bust his nose quite often! It's just a bust nose! So what?! Shit!"
Apparently Tom is so though he did not even feel his nose completely fooked up and did not smell or taste his own blood, just thought it was sweat, another day in the gym. View attachment 1118748
Yet he did feel the eyepoke that barely grazed his right eye, I guess he should be taking Werdum or DC's advice and go on some eye conditioning training before the next rematch.

That's a lot of retard jammed into one post! Impressive!

this is just the beginning of what will be a year and a half long media tour. and now daddy is in the frame too? lol. better like comment and subscribe boys, thats the only way you're gonna see tom again hahaha. they'll have to add another interim belt because of the inactivity and tom will retire after being called a duck for a year. poetic really.

been 4 days, including saturday. not a single doctor has found any damage or cause for his bitching out.

You tell 'em, tough guy!

So he also says in the video that Aspinall still can't see out of that eye, it's all gray.

Are they continuing the lie?!?!!
Tom can't see out of the eye but when the Dr shined a light in it, it caused him immense pain. I'm having trouble understanding how that would work.
They should have stuck to saying Tom couldn't see in the cage. All these hospital videos and Dr visits look way more embarrassing when the Dr can't find anything wrong. Fighting at all can't be very good for your eye health when you're taking punches to the face repeatedly.

The problem is people hear "can't see" and think it has to mean only that he can be looking into a black void. I hear people who wear glasses or contacts say "I can't see shit without my glasses" all the time. That doesn't mean they can't see ANY movement or are just seeing pure blackness. It means they can't see well enough to be functional at whatever they're trying to do. You can have blurry vision that's functionally worthless and then have it be uncomfortable when someone shines a light directly into your eyeball.

Can't see doesn't mean he's blind lol. It probably just means his vision isn't clear. Now if the eye is irritated due to trauma (eyepoke), excess stimulating (bright light) can cause pain.

Aspinall sexuals are challenging the English language to make excuses for their husband and his shameful quitting against Cyril Gane. <36> <36>

Most do. Guys choosing to not continue due to an eye poke is very rare.
But some don't. Depends on the situation. Also most guys have more to lose by not continuing.

A proper comparison would be a defending champion who was eye-poked and still chose to keep fighting.

I will add that an illegal move should end in a DQ, intentional or not. You can just plead ignorance and incompetence after breaking the rules.
Continuing the fight is just rewarding the rule-breaker and encouraging that behaviour.

If you penalized or DQed Jones the first time he eyepoked someone, I bet he'd magically find a way to never to do it again. You saw that with the DQ against Hammill. Never used those elbows again.
