Aspinall might be the best athletic specimen we've ever seen in HW

Not talking about his skills, his athleticism alone. The dude is 6'5 260 lbs and is probably the fastest HW ever. And unlike Gane, he has great power in his hands. He's a pure destructive force, no heavyweights he fought could deal with his power, speed, and explosiveness.

The only one who I would probably put above Tom is Brock.

Francis is a good contender too, he's a little bit more powerful/stronger but he doesn't have the speed and dexterity of Aspinall.

I thought Mitrione moved really well for someone his size as well. Very light on his feet and had great reaction time…

If only he got into MMA when he was a bit younger.
Mitrione was always a big what if. Its a perfect example of if the UFC paid their fighters better, then maybe someone like matt would have choose the UFC instead of the NFL at an earlier age and we could then see his true potential. Dude had good size speed length and power. Hell he KO'd the GOAT hw in Fedor while only starting mma late.

Brock wasn't athletic, wtf you talking about? Unless peds = athleticism and then Brock was the GOAT.
Not sure if you're trolling, If Brock isn't athletic then no one is. Prime Brock weighs like 285 lbs and is as light as Gane on the feet(not talking about footwork)

And right on queue the new anti-jones hype job picks up full steam. Expect everyone who said Pav world really KO Aspinall to switch up and start backing Aspinal rabidly lol

Aspinal is slick af tho, he's that "new breed" of HW that people used to say Travis Browne was lol big dude great athleticism and movement etc etc.

Hopefully he won't flop like others have, he seems to be the cream of the crop at HW.

Also shoutout to the UK for having TWO champions moving into 2024, didn't pick that on my MMA bingo card lol.

Werdum throwing that jumping kick on Brown was more athletic than that shit. Hell dude even ducked under it and Brock went over the top. LMAO

You do realize that Athleticism has nothing to do with Power, right? So I don't know why you're using that as a talking point as to why Gane isn't as athletic as Tom. Gane most certainly is lol. As is Francis.

Anddddd here comes the hype. If he got KO'd, he'd be a candidate for biggest hype train derailed of the year.

Brock Lesnar was a national champion wrestler, won the UFC HW title, and made it to the last cut on the Minnesota Vikings despite not playing college football which is unthinkable.

He is a WAY better athlete than Aspinall and it's not even close

Lol, it's not hype when he's speed-running every top heavyweights he fought in the first round. He's the HW champion and Just finished Pavlovich in the first round.

Brock has an argument for being a better athlete, saying Tom implies Tom isn't in the contention is stupid.

Maybe he's talking about the fact that Brock moved like a lightweight while probably entering the cage around 300 pounds. Was his physique natural? Not a chance. But you'd better believe he's one of the most athletic heavyweights (if not the most athletic) the UFC has ever seen.
