I'm not even sure why this is a thing. If the UFC couldn't book Jones vs. Aspinall for International Fight Week then Jones should be stripped and it should be Aspinall vs. Gane or Almeida for the Undisputed Title at International Fight Week with either Islam vs. Ilia or Charles vs. Ilia as the co-main. Then if Jones is ready by November in NYC then he can fight for the title at that point.

Tom hasn't played it all wrong. I like how he started speaking up & basically saying Jon is ducking him, bc once Jon takes something personal he'll want to fight. but now since Jon is controlling every single part of the fight possibly happening between him & Tom, Tom needs to ignore Jon & act like he doesn't exist, & that's what will bring Jon into the cage with him. If the fighters ignore Jon & with Jon being nonexistent within the division, the only way Jon becomes relevant again is by fighting.
