Jon is already arguably the best fighter ever. I hate that I can’t criticize his joke of a run at HW and holding the belt hostage without people assuming I hate him or think he sucks.

I just want a HW champ and to see some good fights, not Jon being fed a corpse for his Wikipedia page while there’s an interim champ doing all the heavy lifting.

I hear so much about size, no one is talking about british wrestling? Jones out wrestled DC. Let's not pretend that Aspinall is some sort of Frank Mir on his back. I guess Bisping had the best TDD for brits and still got controlled by Chael. Only 2 takedowns have been attempted against Aspinall in his UFC career, only by Spivac in a 2 minute fight Yet many are cool with saying "size" matters for TDD.

I just don't understand unless you hate Jones, why people gloss over Jones grappling credentials and defend Aspinall's lack of any. Traditionally grapplers beat strikers most of the time. Jones has more proven striking defense than Aspinall has grappling defense. Not to mention Jones cardio and range of strikes. Aspinall had a bum knee pop with nothing happening in first Blaydes fight, he's going to have to bounce around against Jones, not to mention take kicks on his good leg. If Jones can do better than Arlovski, he's golden. Jones has never been a stationary target you can just run up and KO, you get punished for any pressure.
