Arman's last submission was in 2017 against a nobody in some small org. So that's very unlikely and I don't see an early GnP win either.

And it's not some huge deal or anything, it's incredibly hard to beat top 5 competition as is, especially at 155. Tougher still to win by finish in the first rd.
But like with Strickland, these guys who consistently win decisions don't need to go out of their way to sell us on bs like that.

Do you know who is usually the loser in these situations? It's the fans. Arman is clearly the number one contender at 155. Fans who are wanting to ^^punish^^ him are just depriving themselves of a good matchup.

No we'd be better depriving the people who show up to their fights on weight of the rewards they deserve because we selfishly want to give fights to people who don't deserve it. Either way, circling back to my main point is both Arman and Gaethje have let the world know they are sitting until they get a title shot. UFC giving either one a title shot lets everyone else know sitting out is a valid method to secure a title shot.

Chandler already lost to gaethje when it mattered. Wasn't good enough for gaethje to get a title shot, despite the fact he also had a win over fiziev. Paddys best wins are chandler and Tony who Gaethje beat when it mattered. Paddy hasn't done anything title shot worthy yet. he shouldn't even be in the discussion. at all.

Gaethje has fought. Im not sure how he's sitting out. Only armen is sitting out.
