Why do people mention everything outside of fighting? Do yall gush over Tom Brady's or Lebron's life outside of the sports arena? MMA fans really are very low iq.

And as a fighter, I'm not really for or against him. I'm not the biggest fans of crotch sniffers and Ank can be one of those at times. But he tries to stand and bang more than not. Also, his GnP was pretty decent against Jan if I'm membering right, which if you gonna sniff that crotch, at least drop some loads on their face.

People are literally saying in this thread that they don't like the way he fights. Your first question is confusing.

Not "he's on a win streak so he deserves it", but moreso "I'm a fan of this fighter, I like him inside the octagon".

I would love him if he fought with some urgency and aggressiveness. With his skills he should be steamrolling this division...but he isn't.

40 yr old Glover steamrolled the majority of the division. hell, he even crushed Jan who drew with Ankalaev. the LHW division is fuckin weak, if Ankalaev was really more special than the rest of them he should be doing what that guy said and steamrolling everyone. that's why everyone thinks he's stupid, because he has the best skill set on paper to take advantage of all the other LHW's weaknesses but he continually has these mental breakdowns during fights where he does the opposite of what he should be doing.

he's literally making it harder on HIMSELF. like if he'd just taken Jan down and beat his ass from the beginning it would've been a UD for Ankalaev if not a late rd stoppage. but instead he kept trying to strike with him after he got his leg destroyed by the leg kicks. it revealed that he has a difficult time adapting and recognizing the problem and that he could be susceptible to leg kicks in the future. that percieved weakness never had to be revealed if he'd had just done what i said in the beginning and grapplefucked him off the bat like everyone thought he'd do.

I liked watching Khabib.

Then Ankalaev emerged as Khabib's biger version. Good wrestling, strong, technically sound.

Then it turned out he doesn't have Khabib personality exactly.

Ankalaev stil has some hype. This fight will determine a lot for him, imo.
