Anyone here on TRT?

That was my biggest worry about getting on TRT was heart issues and prostate issues.

I thought I read testosterone enlarges the prostate.

I mean, this shit is important enough not to trust the word of a internet tough guy but from what he was saying it's a wildly accepted belief that just hasn't had time to filter out of common knowledge. That new research finds no evidence of t supplementation enlarging the prostate.

pretty much all of the stereotypical side effects of testosterone are really high E2 symptoms: mood swings, acne, redness, bloating, gynecomastia, prostate enlargement, etc..

re-read my post. heart surgery to help correct a birth defect that he had to struggle with his entire life. He was born with a congenital heart defect, called a bicuspid aortic valve. The surgery was a valve transplant.
Steroids probably made it worse

More amazing than a warm shower? how and why?
On the physical side it supposedly improves your immune system, circulation, skin, etc.
On the mental side its hard as fuck to jump into cold water every mourning but you feel awesome and ready to go after that.

47, have had 3 shots of Aveed so far. Definitely saw an increase in energy levels and recovery. Not so much with weight loss thus far, but then again, I’m not hard core dieting yet.

3 stabs is nothing. U are using s longer chain test chain ester; takes more time to achieve saturation, is 3 to 4 weeks at best.

Real strength enhancement in gym about 4 to 6 weeks in begin. Noticeable metabolic upswing about 8 to 11 weeks in. Noticeable sleep improvement 5 to 8 weeks in. Long term memory, cognitive boost starts imo 6 to 10 weeks in and seems its very subtle but much more noticeable others.

Bout 20 weeks libido is still much better than when u started, but no longer as strong from
Week 3 to then, it’s a dopaminergic feedback thing.
Still better. Just not stupid pornstar kick u feel at beginning kick in after first month.

It’s lower dose test, so saturation takes longer.

My advice is clean up your diet and train better.

Speed things up and u get better at being better.

So you didn't get a single side effect?

I heard once you go on it you can never go off or else your estrogen will go through the roof.
This guy got on TRT look at his before and after he said he had sides like aching testicles, greasy skin some body acne, body hair like ear hair growing thicker, and night sweats and insomnia, but he said he had lots of energy and his libido was increased.

No side effects at all. But, then, I'm not on a massive dose like this guy appears to be.

My dad went on TRT when he was around 60, he's now 63 and looks and feels much better. He's always been very active from being a wrestling coach, runner. He can actually do a lot more ever since he began treatment. Only side effect I've heard him complain about was his hair thinning up top, but he's in his 60's .

also lol at that random photo of a guy with no context whatsoever or link to testimony

Yeah, that was a bit odd. LOL.
My Low T Journey: One Year on TRT
trt-after-feature.jpg

After being diagnosed with low testosterone in Spring 2014, I finally understood the laundry list of problems that had baffled me for most of my adult life.

But more importantly, I was armed with the information I needed to seek out a solution.

For me, that solution was Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) and it's changed my life for the better.

After celebrating my first anniversary of TRT in August 2015, I feel like I finally have the proper perspective to share with others.

I've been waiting to talk about this until now because I wanted to be able to tell you about the journey I've taken, not the journey I was beginning.

So here it is – the good, the bad, the awesome, and the timeline in which it all took place!

Effects of TRT – The Bad
I think it's best to get the bad news out of the way first. And there have only been three very minor negatives to this whole experience.

Body acne
trt-skin-condition.jpg

I’ve always had very clear, even skin, even as a teenager.

But now it's become a little oily and acne prone on my upper back, shoulders, and upper arms.

This is easily managed with a little extra scrubbing using a loofa and the occasional use of acne control body wash.

I still have occasional zits and more spots from the ones that are healing, but it's been a fairly minor annoyance.

Increased body hair
I’ve also become a bit more fuzzy on my upper body.

I used to have almost no visible hair on my upper arms, shoulders, and upper back.

It’s now become slightly darker and longer, though I'm still not what you would call a “hairy guy”.

It isn’t even enough for most people to notice, but I'm aware of it because I’ve spent the last 30 years in my body and I'm in tune to minor changes.

Testicular shrinkage
To put it in medical terms, I’ve experienced testicular atrophy of approximately 10%.

Essentially, my balls are a little bit smaller.

I’m talking a really insignificant amount and it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

But in case you're concerned with this side effect for yourself, my wife has noted (via girl talk) that women truly don’t care much about our balls as long as they aren’t “peanuts or grapefruits.”

Really, a 10% decrease is likely to go unnoticed.

In my case, they actually shrank by about 25% initially (this worried me, of course), but have returned to just below their original size.

However, I did experience quite a bit of aching in the early days after beginning TRT. Nothing sharp or unbearable, just a dull ache.

Fortunately, the aching and shrinkage were just the initial shutdown and lasted only a few weeks.

And that's it for the bad…really!
Effects of TRT – The Good
Now, for the positives!

Let me assure you that the benefits of TRT have far outweighed the very minor negatives of this whole experience.

Sex Drive
A couple weeks after my first injection, I had an experience that indicated a significant improvement in this very important aspect of a man's life.

My wife and I were on our weekly grocery shopping trip at Trader Joe’s and I couldn’t help noticing that I seemed to be surrounded by supermodels.

I looked at my wife (we have a healthy relationship) and asked her “What is this, hottie day at Trader Joe’s?”

She looked at me like I was crazy and replied that this was the normal amount of attractive women for this particular store. It was like I was seeing the world through the eyes of a high school senior.

I felt like I could, and needed to, take on every woman in the entire grocery store.

hes on 200 mg a week which is basically a low cruise, rather than TRT dosage, TRT is typically anywhere from 80mg to 180 a week. 180 being the highest.

As for the cognitive benefits he described, I can relate. mental clarity and sharpness, things that used to stress me out just slide off of my shoulders, more energy, motivation, and confidence to pursue my goals and ideas

yes I believe he is still on it.

He also said it made his beard grow thicker and longer he could never grow a beard before but I think he also takes propecia to prevent hairloss and enlarging of the prostate.

I'm 39 and when the wife is away I fall back into old habits, so I'll jerk it 5 or 6 times a day still. Is that a good indicator that I dont need test? Because my body doesn't heal like it used to . Soreness lingers like fucking hell.

You got a strong libido, also you must love your wife to still be attracted to her after all those years.

sounds like you got a good one man

5 to 6 times a day?

Even on TRT I cant do that

I’m 34 and a full time boxing coach/pad holder. Everything hurts and I’m tired all the time so I tried to get on The juice but my scores came back around 650 so the Doc said nope.
