Anyone here on TRT?

You just want a picture of me shirtless so you have something to Jack off to.
youre crazy. I was thinking more of the lines of us meeting up & heading to a local bar, I know of one; top hats and gimp suits are a mandatory part of the dress code, though. How do you feel about cosmos?

Me too. And, I highly recommend it to anyone who's testosterone count is low or out of balance for any reason. Mine is low because I'm over 50 & it could also have been adversely affected by my boxing career. Apparently, years of blunt force trauma can lower one's count. Though my urologist is skeptical about that in my case because my count is considered to be in the low-normal range for my age rather than being tanked like a lot of football players & combat sports athletes. Which is definitely a relief.
Anyhow, I've been on it for two years now & I feel much better than I did prior to going on TRT. I have a lot more energy & I feel so much better than I did while taking all those over the counter supplements which is initially what I tried after my primary mentioned that my testosterone was low after routine blood work. None of them worked & I wanted to be sure to be able to keep up with my fiance so I went straight to my urologist & got on TRT.
Maybe this is TMI but I'll be honest, my energy in the bedroom was fine but I wanted an extra boost or two because she's two decades younger than I am & it's certainly done the trick. Not to mention my physique has certainly improved & taken on a more youthful appearance.
I've had no side effects either. How about you?
What's your experience been like with TRT? As great as mine I hope.
Peace.

Thanks for the insight. I'm about to be 41. My girlfriend is 23. Very good chance I'll marry her. Right now I feel great, in every sense. And she's always good to go. Hah. But I figure that around 50, if i start to feel some slowdown, I might get on TRT. Which will be around the time she's at the age where she wants it more than ever. So the timing will work out well. Haha.

The thing I'm concerned about most though is hair loss. I like my hair. Hah. Have you noticed any hair loss, or thinning, you can attribute to TRT? What about any changes like reddish skin color, jaw shape change, etc?

I haven't experienced any side-effects at all other a slightly higher PSA count after the first few cycles so they had me go for a prostate biopsy just to be on the safe side & it came back negative. Since then, everything's returned to normal & things are great.
So, no rashes & no change in the shape of my jaw or anything else for that matter. As for hair loss though, just look at me:

I had a full head of hair a year ago.

LOL. Just joking, I've kept it shaved since my 30s. And, when I shave it my hairline is no different than it was two years ago when I began TRT. So, you should be fine when/if you decide to try TRT in a few years.
Good luck.

No hair loss or redness. hair loss is genetic relally. if youre in your 40s and don't have hair loss I doubt you would post-TRT. my facial features are sharper for sure, but not some ridiculous jaw line. no redness either

on TRT myself. curious to see if there are any other fellow recipients on Sherdog as well.

Trt from the doctor, prescribed to you? Cyptionate? How much milligrams do you do per week? Just 1ml? Cypionste usually comes in either 200mgs per ml or 250mgs per ml.

My medical insurance, thank God. Otherwise, it'd be like some crazy amount per 150mg injection. Which I get every two weeks at ( I believe ) $98 a pop.

That sounds absolutely insane with that price... a 10ml bottle of test cypionate or test enanthate (250mg per ml) should cost you no more than $90per bottle. If you’re paying anymore than that, you’re getting absolutely ripped off.

Most average run of the mill steroid dealers get bottles of test e or test cyp for usually $45-$50 each, and sell them to regular users for $80-$90. That’s in Canada. Most UGLs also produce cialis and viagra - usually 50mg Viagra and 20mg cialis. Dealers usually pay $45 for a bottle of 100 tabs and sell bottles for anywhere from $90 to $140. I know cialis is crazy expensive if it’s prescribed and you don’t got insurance. Total ripoff.

But even if you’re being prescribed it and don’t have insurance - paying anymore than $90 for a 10ml vial for test cyp or test e is completely outrageous.

Now If you’re a producer ... I don’t even want to say how cheap each bottle costs you in materials - labels, glass vials, rubber stoppers, oils, etc. Producers make HUGE paper if they got the clientele to supply. (And you’re on the complete bottom of the list priority wise for law enforcement) Steroids is a ginormous lucrative business in the underworld.

I feel great at 40 years old. But who knows in 10 years or so.

Not sure if i wanna be a roider. Maybe some sarms instead. I figure we know more about them in 10 years time.

I heard it destroys your balls completely, shrinks them to the size of a raisin . Also accelerates the process of balding aka destroys your hairline

Question for the lads on TRT how old are you and did a doctor recommend it or did you seek it out looking for a boost

Curious as to why is it so hard to get? Especially if it is administered by a doctor. I am over 40. I got money. I am not a professional athlete. Whats the problem. Am I missing something?

I am almost 31 and have had what I would consider low T (for my age) since my mid 20s - usually around 16nmol/l (461ng/dl) but it's tested as low as 11nmol/l previously (317ng/dl). The problem is my SHBG is sky high for my age, around the 40s and it once came back almost 60 so my free T is pathetic. Doctors in the UK won't prescribe TRT unless you come back with a <10nmol/l result consistently and don't take free test or having every symptom in the book into account.

I have considered doing it the manual way myself as it's not particularly expensive, however it is a big commitment at my age with no doctor support. Would be interested to hear other people's levels for comparison though as I am sure I will end up on it one day.

What to keep that young woman satisfied? Make sure you've got enough saved to retire on AND give her the adventurous years of her late 20s and early 30s.

Because of the age difference and the dumb choices people make, I'd say you need to saved an additional 20-30% on top of what you'd need to retire to pad against any stupid choices she is going to make over the next 10 years. Choices she will leave YOU for once you're broke. No amount of TRT will prevent that.

Does she want to go back to school? Does she understand she can't new living room furniture every 3 years? Will she want your help buying her next car? Is she in a career field that provides a pension or 401K? Does she have good credit? (Please tell me you're going to run her credit before you even think about marrying her.)

This is the real problem with TRT. Men aren't men anymore. Thinking some dangerous drug thinking its going to solve the same problems that will waiting for you afterwards. smh.

You willing to risk everything to a take a drug that men have lived without for thousands of years?

You don't need TRT. You need to man up and go live your life.

Did you read what I said? I decided against doing it myself, and I am living my life. Great response dick head
