Anyone here on TRT?

I am almost 31 and have had what I would consider low T (for my age) since my mid 20s - usually around 16nmol/l (461ng/dl) but it's tested as low as 11nmol/l previously (317ng/dl). The problem is my SHBG is sky high for my age, around the 40s and it once came back almost 60 so my free T is pathetic. Doctors in the UK won't prescribe TRT unless you come back with a <10nmol/l result consistently and don't take free test or having every symptom in the book into account.

I have considered doing it the manual way myself as it's not particularly expensive, however it is a big commitment at my age with no doctor support. Would be interested to hear other people's levels for comparison though as I am sure I will end up on it one day.
Back track through this guy's videos for UK advice.

Arnold and the rock have been on it their entire lives. no complaints and no problem. Yes, Arnold has heart issues, but due to a birth defect; something that he has struggled with since childhood.

at age 71 and been on test for nearly his whole adult life:

He also had major heart surgery..

Im almost 32 and no, I havent used.

Im not against it but I feel that some people can be using it as a shortcut. Cold showers, clean diet, excercise, good sleep and avoiding stress will raise your T levels naturally.
If at some point I feel like I have been doing everything I can naturally (no, supplements dont count because they are BS to me) I wont be opposed to test it in small amounts.

But hey.. to each his own. If you want to juice, eat pizza and sleep 4 hours a day be my guess.

He also had major heart surgery..
re-read my post. heart surgery to help correct a birth defect that he had to struggle with his entire life. He was born with a congenital heart defect, called a bicuspid aortic valve. The surgery was a valve transplant.

you on a Keto diet or intermittent fasting?

also any liver issues?

No funky diets I do skip breakfast some days but I eat a ton of carbs depending what I’m doing gym wise definitely no keto.

I’m not aware of any liver issues although I have read things that suggest that could be linked to SHBG in the past

i'm 41, don't think i need it - i'm motivated and able to workout 6 days per week.

47, have had 3 shots of Aveed so far. Definitely saw an increase in energy levels and recovery. Not so much with weight loss thus far, but then again, I’m not hard core dieting yet.

Cold showers? No way. Got a source on this?

youre crazy. I was thinking more of the lines of us meeting up & heading to a local bar, I know of one; top hats and gimp suits are a mandatory part of the dress code, though. How do you feel about cosmos?

Gimp suits you say? Count me in.

Me too. And, I highly recommend it to anyone who's testosterone count is low or out of balance for any reason. Mine is low because I'm over 50 & it could also have been adversely affected by my boxing career. Apparently, years of blunt force trauma can lower one's count. Though my urologist is skeptical about that in my case because my count is considered to be in the low-normal range for my age rather than being tanked like a lot of football players & combat sports athletes. Which is definitely a relief.
Anyhow, I've been on it for two years now & I feel much better than I did prior to going on TRT. I have a lot more energy & I feel so much better than I did while taking all those over the counter supplements which is initially what I tried after my primary mentioned that my testosterone was low after routine blood work. None of them worked & I wanted to be sure to be able to keep up with my fiance so I went straight to my urologist & got on TRT.
Maybe this is TMI but I'll be honest, my energy in the bedroom was fine but I wanted an extra boost or two because she's two decades younger than I am & it's certainly done the trick. Not to mention my physique has certainly improved & taken on a more youthful appearance.
I've had no side effects either. How about you?
What's your experience been like with TRT? As great as mine I hope.
Peace.
So you didn't get a single side effect?

I heard once you go on it you can never go off or else your estrogen will go through the roof.
This guy got on TRT look at his before and after he said he had sides like aching testicles, greasy skin some body acne, body hair like ear hair growing thicker, and night sweats and insomnia, but he said he had lots of energy and his libido was increased.

its not cold shower the Russians put cold packs on males balls a few times a week for like 20 minutes a day right before bed and said it increased testosterone greatly and sperm and semen production. they had them lift weights and saw a significant increase in strength.

It works especially for increasing semen volume but who the hell wants to keep icing their balls 3 to 4 times a week?

T supplementation has no effect on prostate. I have that from 2 prostate cancer specialists my father spoke to a month ago. Apparently that's old news and was based on a study with low participants.
That was my biggest worry about getting on TRT was heart issues and prostate issues.

I thought I read testosterone enlarges the prostate.
