Oh no for everyone to be a can they would actually have to be fighters. 98% of sherdog wish they were tough enough to be cans. They aren't even in that conversation.

There are a few guys from my area that fight in the ufc. They are awful. I'm nothing special and used to beat on them.
The ufc is very watered down on the edges. There are some jobbers that have dozens of fights for the organization.
Point being there isn't always that big a difference from the 1 and 1 regional guys and the outskirts of the ufc

Then you're not giving yourself enough credit. That's true org name and hype isn't everything. Basically there are milions out there who are very talented and took a different career path. Most people don't fancy being a face punches professionally.

Many guys at gyms with no real records are actually really strong
 
I was never a fan and never expected any more than he achieved. Which is a very solid resume, whatever the time frame/depth of divisions.
Can't hate on a guy working that hard. Dude's an overachiever if anything, and that deserves praise.

He is a very average fighter in a weak division with delusions of grandeur who seems to always under estimate his opponents. Not a good combination.
He seems too emotional in his recent fights too.
