UFC is ridiculously cheap. But understandable. He probably won’t become champ again so no point in paying him more than the $8k/8k these new kids are fighting for.

I remember when he was on that Wheaties box back in the day. He was Dana’s golden boy.

This is probably one of the few cases where money wasn’t a factor the feeling was probably mutual he can’t compete with the top guys and to fight guys on the outside of the top 15 for someone like him is kinda a bad look. Why not headline Bellator cards while fighter weaker competition and making good sponsor money.
